Dr. Sandra Borg, MD

Dr. Borg downplayed my menstrual cramps as "normal". I was a young newly married girl. Years later I went to another doctor who diagnosed me with endometriosis. I confronted Dr. Borg with this information. She bad-mouthed the second doctor. He was right, however, and my disease had progressed to the point I couldn't get pregnant. We tried reproductive endocrinologist specialists and fertility treatments to no avail. The sister of a close friend of mine clearly has endo but goes to Dr. Borg so she has suffered for years with no diagnosis. In a second instance of negligence, I had chronic sinus infections for a few years. Dr. Borg looked at my CT scan and told me nothing was wrong. An ENT specialist disagreed. He corrected my deviated septum and the sinus infections went away and stayed away for the 25 years since. Dr. Borg needs to stay in her lane and refer patients to specialists instead of invalidating their experiences and letting them suffer the consequences.
