Dr Iyer is an excellent physician. However, I went for an appt and it took an hour and 45 minutes although only 20 minutes of that was I actually seen by anybody. I spent 85 minutes waiting at various stages last of which was 40 minutes in the exam room waiting for the good doctor to show up. Horrible experience. Plus no apologies, excuses or even a comment of concern. They just pretended it wasn't happening. Absolutely no customer service at this practice. This was a routine annual exam. Nothing special. Heaven help those who have something wrong.

Dr. Iyer has been very thorough in the examination- she has been most patient in treating a difficult eye infection even calling a colleague, asking her to work me in if possible- to get another opinion. I am most impressed with Dr. Iyer - her knowledge, determination, kindness is called "going the extra mile" for a patient. Very pleased with Dr. Iyer.

She was professional, knowledgeable and thorough. She is also able to explain things to her patients in terms they understand. After explaining the diagnosis, she wrote it down on a piece of paper so that I could research it later on my own. Plus, everyone with whom I had contact in that office from the time I arrived until the time I left were professional and friendly.

I went to Dr Iyer to get a second opinion after a first doctor diagnosed my cataract. My experience with her office was leaps and bounds above the first doctor. The front office is organised and on time. Dr Iyer quickly diagnosed it, gave me all my options for the correct lens based on my lifestyle and I was done in less than an hour vs 4 hours at the first Dr. She was very patient and encouraged questions. It is apparent she cares deeply and is a talented surgeon.
