Dr. Sanders McKee, MD

He was the best!! Sorry I had to find out about his passing on this site!! My thoughts and prayers to his family

My husband and I began seeing Dr.Mckee when we moved here from North Ga in 2016 and I have to say he was our favorite Dr. Very compassionate, knowledgeable, took his time and was a Blessing in every way. I'm so sad to hear of his passing and praying for his loved ones. He will be missed greatly.

The best Doctor I have ever known! I have been seeing Dr. McKee for over twenty years. He was very kind, knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, always had time to see me and talk through anything! I was just informed he died today. I’m am so sorry for his family and other patients! It’s a true loss for all that knew him!

I've been going to Dr. McKee for 10 years. He helped save my life when I had heart failure. I just found out that he has pancreatic cancer and was sent home for hospice. There will never be a doctor like him, he has the compasion of a Saint. I am glad he was in my life. God speed and bless his family

I have never had one complaint about Dr. McKee, I started going here and seeing his PA Evan until he wasn’t there, then Dr. McKee took over my health. He helped me get type 2 Diabetes under control and my thyroid. I lost 100 pounds. I go there when I’m sick, when I hurt my knee, for sleep apnea, adhd, and I love Dr. McKee! I need to know if I need to find another doctor or if the practice is closed permanently. I sure hope not! Can someone reach out? I just need some guidance because I’m going to be out of my meds in 2 weeks. The pharmacist at Publix said Dr. McKee was sick. I hope he is well and doing better. Normally you can get a next day appointment with this office so I am so confused as to why there’s no more information. Please help.

Dr. McKee gets an enthusiastic five-star rating from all of us!! He has been taking care of our whole family for about 20 years and we truly appreciate his extensive knowledge, professional expertise and personal level of care. He's like a wonderful, trusted family friend to us all and his diagnoses are always insightful and spot-on! If only he could retain qualified staff to efficiently run his office up to the high standards of his professional care. Praying for his newest staff to live up to his stellar example.

They don't return phone calls.Had an appointment for a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. Dr said referral will go out next day. After 12 days, still no referral.Totally frustrated. Numerous phone calls, no results. The office staff does not give a darn

Dr. McKee was fine. I left his office very pleased with the visit. However, I needed to get a copy of the office visit notes for insurance coverage and have still not been able to get it. I have not even been able to speak to anybody in the office yet. After 4 or 5 attempts, the probability of ever getting the information is not very likely anymore. A doctor and his or her office must be a team in order to be effective. In this case the patient loses instead of the team.

Good doctor. Terrible staff. Very hard to talk with anyone. Nobody returns your calls.

Dr. McKee is very knowledgeable and takes the time to teach you about your conditions. He has a very soothing personality and a good sense of humor. He’s very caring about your whole self, not just the problem at hand, and is truly compassionate. I couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of my health.

My husband & I moved here in Oct. & began seeing Dr. McKee. I would say "he's a nice doctor"& gives you plenty of time, but he only takes sparce notes & either he or his staff fail 2 follow through on the issues discussed. When you call, you most always get a recording. You leave a message, & your call is not returned ; so you call again & again- Finally after leaving multiple messages, someone may call back. Don't bother trying 2 send an email. Dr. McKee made it perfectly clear that "he doesn't read emails because he is 2 busy". So the emails drop into a back hole! When you ask 2 have Dr. McKee call 2 answer a simple question the reply is, " Dr. McKee doesn't call patients; If you wish 2 speak 2 him you must make an appointment!" McKee is not connected 2 a portal where one can see details of the visit so you have no actual record of what was discussed unless you record the visit or take your own notes! Sitting in the office, the phone rings;no one answers- staff is chatting! Not Good!

Friendly and knowledgeable doctor with an unconcerned staff. Write an email, leave a message, and it goes into a black hole. They rarely call back, and always want to set up another appointment even if you just want a prescription refilled or have a question. I was told "Dr. McKee does not talk to patients on the telephone." You have to go through two sets of recorded messages just to leave a message, and you never know if it got through or not because they don't call back. Dr. McKee needs to get a better grip on these people.

Dr. McKee over-prescribes benzos with a remarkable regularity. I should have sought a second opinion ten years ago. Now I am battling a xanax addiction because a drug that should have been prescribed for less than six weeks, he regularly refilled for me every three months. Perhaps twenty years ago, this physician was current on psychopharmacology but he has fallen woefully behind. I regret the day I first came into his office and will never again recommend him. I wish he'd just retire. He's contributing to an epidemic and it's terrifying. Please do yourself a favor and someone else if you have mental health issues. This guy just Band-Aids the problems without ever really addressing the root problem. A good bedside manner and a calm disposition does not make up for these kinds of mistakes.

Greatest bedside manner of any physician I’ve ever had. Feels like sitting down to discuss your health with a trusted friend or family member.

Love the PA Chris, very happy with the care! Just wish the practice administration was patient centric. Not talking about staff, they are great. Plan on always getting a recorded Voice Mail system, leaving a message, and hoping your request is handled. If you're not available when they return a call. Repeat. Makes me feel like cattle being herded through.

Great doctor been going to him since 2014 I wouldn’t trust nobody else but him with my healthcare needs great bedside manner was there when my mom passed

Great doctor, horrible nurse. She doesn't call back after many attempts and is very rude when you finally get a hold of her. It's going on almost 3 weeks of calling and leaving messages for the information I need. It's too bad as I like the doctor but since you have to deal with such an inefficient staff it's not worth going. Plenty of other good doctors out there and not worth the hassle to put up with this behavior.

Excellent physician. Always courteous genuinely is concerned about improving your Health. I have been a patient for approximately 4 years.

I love going there. Do not rush and take the time with me . I see his PA and he’s great also. I highly recommend them.
