Dr. Sandeep Sharma, MD

I cannot say anything good about this incompetent doctor. He almost killed my sick mom by dehydration whilst she was a patient at The Villages of Rockville rehab center. I had to threaten to call 911 after seeing her dying in her rehab bed. While Sharma agreed my mom was not doing well, he failed to intervene appropriately. When I arrived at the rehab center, I told Sharma I was going to call 911, and he tried telling me that was not allowed. He had the nerve to say 911 was reserved for emergencies. Well, if finding one's mom dying at a "rehab" center is not an emergency, I don't know what is. Shame on Sharma! By the time the ambulance drivers got my mom to Suburban ER, she had dry chunks of dead skin plastered on her tongue from dehydration, her #s were horrific, and she was near death. The ER staff were shocked by what they were seeing and immediately started providing the treatment she needed. Do your elderly relative a big favor, and stay away from Sharma.

Dr. Sharma is my mom’s doctor in a retirement community. I think he is amazing. I run into him when I visit my mom and he always stops to let me know how she is doing. Yes, he can do that without a computer in front of him. I thought those days were gone but not with Dr. Sharma who not only knows his patients but their family too.
