Dr. Sandeep Gupta, MD

Sad due to nature of business he’s in. Also sad because he’s also employed by Arrowhead so they too are clearly okay with the antics. I’ve read the comments and they ring true to my common sense and also to my personal experience. If I am honest, positives are also true. Yes, he does listen and yes can be empathetic, but he is also a talker. At times, I thought I was providing therapy to him. Lastly, he doesn’t take accountability so no, he’s not gonna make changes cause he’s OK with things as they are, he gets paid regardless. The good thing is, if you too poorly manage your time & just want your prescription filled.. he serves the purpose.

Always late to appointments, very limited schedule in office. Receptionist was extremely rude and degrading. When i tried to approach the topic with the Dr, he became very rude and would not discuss it. So apparently this office is OK with their lazy staff (said reception was too busy eating and watching TV to check me in, I stood in front of her for 4 minutes before she even noticed I was standing in front of her to check in). I refuse to be talked down to or degraded, so I will never recommend this dr or any of the drs that work in that office. This office has zero professionalism and it's evident the minute you walk in the office and the Dr also admitted they're too cheap to upgrade to electronic records to get mychart, therefore I'd have to deal with the mean receptionist whenever I needed something. Funny how she puts on quite the act when the dr is around though. Worst experience ever!

Worst facility for mental health issues.

Helped me change medication that was causing side effects. Helped change my diagnosis to one I actually agreed with. Listened to me unlike most other psychiatrists.

Dr. Gupta refused multiple times to change my medication. Even though I insisted that the medication caused SEVERE, life altering side effects. He called me names, and mocked me openly. He kept me on the the same medication to force me out of the hospital, and out of his care. The worst doctor I have ever had, by far and away.

Extremely empathetic and helpful. Very knowledgeable and has an out of this world positive attitude. Very upbeat and understanding. Outstanding character, would recommend to anyone in need of an excellent psychiatrist.
