Missed diagnosis
Dr Chunduri missed my diagnosis and I was diagnosed by one of the universities in Chicago. Other better options in the area

not much help
All this man does is monitor your progress, if you want a repair man he is not your guy. My case was repairable and all he wanted to do was collect my insurance money with monitoring and not roll up his sleeves and go the extra mile to make me well but I found someone who did.

We’ve been seeing dr chunduri for 2 years for my husband’s CR prostate cancer with metastasis to bone. He is not only efficient and thorough, but he does both with a great sense of humor when appropriate. We feel that he keeps up with the latest treatment options for his patient’s and will look something up if he’s not 100%. Even with the change from private practice to Advocate, then Covid-19...he made things appear seamless. We are fans and would highly recommend him!!!!!

Dr Chunduri was not my husbands primary oncologist but we saw him in the hospital and he gave us the diagnosis and we saw him again after my husband's condition had greatly deteriorated. He is an intelligent, kind and compassionate man. He helped make our difficult decision easier by taking his time with our family and answering all our questions then making sure everything was in place and taken care of for my husband.

Intelligent and caring doctor! He goes the extra mile overseeing your treatment and care plan. I am giving him a lot of credit as I recently had testing done at the hospital (out patient) within two hours of completing tests he called me at home to go over results. His staff also is amazing!

In 2017 my husband went into the ER for what we came to learn (less than 24 hours from time of walking in) was for a tumor/cancer. We were given a 1st time appt and saw Chunduri less than 48 hours from then. Wow. He's incredibly intelligent and pro-active, VERY patient and truly cares for both his patients and their family. My husband has stage 4 rectal cancer and thanks for Chunduri's care and his excellent team my husband's NED. I thank him and God for every extra day we are blessed together.

From my very first visit, Dr. Chunduri assured me that it was his goal to provide me with the best options to fight my cancer and help reduce the chance of it returning. He went over details in a manner which made this strange new world of oncology much easier to comprehend. His concern for those entrusted in his care is very evident. It is so important to be comfortable with and have confidence in one's medical provider as the time under their care can be many years.

I have to say I am very unhappy with Chunduri's unattentive care. He missed cancer outside of the bladder and chose not to do a PET scan on a hip replacement patient to ensure spread did not occur.Since this did not occur cancer spread and got out of control My dad had kidney issues and still not check of the lymph nodes in that area. So...it spread. now my dad is dead with heart attack because the clot on his heart (due to the early PET scan) caused a heart attack (secondary!).
