ECT
Started out doing ECT on a clinical trial. Logistics were too hard and wasn’t working great at first. Was supposed to be recommending a therapist (went by the way side by another doctor). Got sent to him for meds that would be closest to ECT. Told me I had a problem with benzodiazepines (which I acknowledged). First time he asked if I could cut back to only what my doctor prescribed (I said yes). Next appointment wanted me off all benzodiazepines and I had to date ( not kidding). Really wanted me in-patient for drugs.I said no that I had too many responsibilities and commitments. Then he begged for intensive out patient. No way I’ll enter that building because he seems too intent and I’m terrified he would comment me. BTW-I did it myself and got back to what I was prescribed. He shocked me 2 times and I had no idea who he was. I would have cancelled the appointment. ECT is no joke and I understand the baton is being passed but I want a good and experienced doctor-Rosenquist or Mcall
