He was my Dr in ER at Downey ,he is not in network w Blue Cross I got a bill for 2,400,he came in the room told me my heartbeat was ok that I looked like a friend of his and that was it, so when you are in ER thinking you are having a heartattack make sure you ask if the ER Dr is in network, I sent $1,800 and today I got a bill for $500. I have great insurance that I pay a TON of money for every payday but having to pay $2.400 for ABSOLUTLY NOTHING IS DISGUSTING, was nice but not $2,400 nice

Dr. Thurber was amazing. I have to go to Emergency very often because of a chronic medical condition. He was very knowledgeable about my medical problems (very uncommon actually), compassionate, and spent more time with me than any other emergency physician ever. He's absolutely the best I've ever dealt with.
