Great Bedside manner
I went in for an emergency egd to find and stop a gastrointestinal bleed. He was very clear about explaining things and had a very bright and comforting demeanor that made me feel at ease through the entire thing and afterwards. Very good doctor.

Dr Schowengerdts performed a colonoscopy on our adult son this morning and he was so thorough at explaining things and reassuring. Definitely would recommend him.

Dr. Sam is what every doctor should try to be.
First colonoscopy ever. The doctor and his nursing and tech staff were wonderful. Spent plenty of time explaining everything and answering all questions. Everything went smoothly.
