Dr. Brown checked the knee x-ray and discussed my joint problem with me. Fortunately no surgery is needed. He explains so you can understand. Great demeanor with patients.

Trustworthy, skilled, and highly recommended.
I have had work done on both shoulders and both knees by Dr. Brown. Recovering from rotator cuff surgery now, but all surgeries have been successful. Easy to talk to, great sense of humor, but most of all he really knows what he is doing.

Both Knees Done
I went to SMOC and saw Dr Brown at the beginning of the year (January 2024). All X-rays-MRI were quickly completed and I had arthroscopic surgery on my left knee the first week of February with no pain or complications. Assessed this was the preferred option for right knee, which was a little worse, but had that surgery completed at the end of March - again no complications. Now up and walking with no significant issues - just working out the kinks. Thank you Dr Brown for a great job and experience!

Poor bedside manners, talks down to you, very confrontational. Handed me a brochure with his picture on it so I could see how much experience he has. Couldn't believe that a Dr with his amount of schooling and experience would treat anyone like that.

Had shoulder concerns back about 2013, and was connected to Dr. Brown by two friends who had done rota-tor cup surgery with him. I found him very good. He opted first for dealing with inflamed bursa, and I didn't have to go through the surgery. I was very pleased.

I didn't get to see dr. Brown I had to see a PA, Lena Sifen.. She was great but the staff in the officeOMG, they need to do some drug testing in that office. Michael must be the clown that calls you back after leaving 3 messages starting on Friday and finally getting call back on Tuesday. Excuse.. It was a starting of weekend... Oh I'm sorry didn't mean to rush you in the call backs. Spoke to office manager Elizabeth said she would look into it.. Ok whatever.

My ?consultation? consisted of 10 minutes of him explaining to me that I need to go to the gym and that he would not be the one to perform the surgery on me. I was shocked and offended by his lack of professionalism. He never performed any type of range of motion exercises (or laid a hand on me, period), asked about my pain levels, or inquired about activities that affect my shoulder and it?s instability. He refuted everything on my MRI report read by two doctors. Terrible bedside manner!
