Twice cancelled my appt, no notice.
I have a 50 plus year history of Lupus & Fibromyalgia Diagnosis. Started going to this doc. 3 years ago.TWICE, in less than 3 years, The office DID NOT contact me about cancelling my app. Left me without ability to refill desperately needed medication.Told me I could reschedule the appt THEY cancelled in … 2 months. Left me in screaming pain. Prior to this last appt., He prescribed extremely toxic medication with no followup in a reasonable amount of time. Result was I got extremely sick, my blood levels were so screwed up I had to go to 3 other doctors and have multiple MRI’s, CT’s, Ultrasounds to figure what was wrong. It was the medication he prescribed with no followup.

Doesn't care about figuring out issues.
f you just want treated like 99% of all his other patients and just be prescribed medication and NVR truly find out what's going on with you then he's your Dr.I went to him for over 2 years and never found out truly what was going on. Changed providers, was immediately ordered labs...after some more accurate blood work was done, I was immediately sent to a kidney specialist as my autoimmune was attacking my kidneys. Dr. Manakam never did a UA to check for proteins. Never did blood work to find my myositis muscle disease..I would have my appointment and felt like he was a robot, never questioned anything, never wanted to look outside his typical prescribed medication. In fact that medicine did nothing for my autoimmune attacking my organs. So all the years I was going to him was a waste of time. I'm so glad I switched to actually get quality, answers and can actually start treatment that's going to help stop the progression of it attacking my kidneys and body

All I can say is that he is the BEST.
Dr. Manicham replies on his portal usually the same day. He is there for me when I am not doing well. He schedules in person and telehealth visits as needed. Dr Manicham is the best Rheumatologist I have worked with.

Dr Manickam is a compassionate physician. He has been my go to guy since 2018. He listens and provides solutions based on your situation, not just a cookie cutter approach. He has actually called me at home to make sure the medication he prescribed for my RA was effective. I do not know how I would have survived if it had not been for Dr. Manickam. I highly recommend him for your arthritis needs….

Dr. Manickam is a dedicated doctor who goes beyond just taking care of rheumatology problems...especially with the covis-19 problems. He explains all about being safe, what to do with masks, what kind to buy, etc. He makes sure that you are comfortable and not having any difficulties with RA and explains options for treatment very thoroughly so you can make your decision as to the course you want to take. The office staff is very helpful as well. I have had several doctors for my RA over the years due to moving around and he is tops on my list.

Finally a Dr. that is passionate about actually helping people and it shows! I’ve had years of infections and pain and he is the only DR that had taken time not only to listen to me but actually take action to help me. He has wonderful bedside manner which is uncommon nowadays. I’m still struggling with Lupus and infections, but just having someone that wants to help me and taking action to find ways to manage life with Lupus is huge right now. Don’t look anymore...Dr. Manickam is your new Dr.

Excellent! It may have taken a bit for him to come in, his MA said, "he is reviewing your paperwork." To which, I thought yes, that is what they all say. Well, it was absolutely clear he reviewed them all!! Not only that, but he spent an HOUR WITH ME. When does that happen? He walked through everything and we are coming up with a plan for my symptoms. He also called me as promised later that day and 2 more times after I missed the call to fill out important paperwork, just unheard of! RECOMMEND!
