This physician is a testament to what old school medicine is all about! He is compassionate & knowledgable. You don’t find too many doctors who want to get to the bottom of the problem before assigning to another specialty, not Dr Hutman - he is willing to get the proper dx and tx plan.

Dr. Hutman’s Review
I recently moved to Tennessee. If I hadn’t I think I would have changed Dermatologists. When this practice was bought, things changed. I personally feel like everything was rushed & quota over quality was the standard. My sister died at age 57 of Melanoma & was misdiagnosed by her Dermatologist. Dr. Hutman knew this. I went last October & had asked about some areas I was concerned about. He always told me, pick away, you’re fine. Long story short, I moved, asked about the same area’s & turns out I had Squamous Cell & had to have MOHS surgery. This was only FIVE months after my last annual. My new primary encouraged me to go early. I loved Dr. Hutman, but I was feeling the last couple years that appointments were rushed. This was truly overlooked & I will be going every 6 months now. Plus my new Dermatologist said never to pick anything as it is usually something.

On my follow up visit with Dr. Sammy Hutman, I was told me that my medical issue was much improved with the antibiotic cream prescribed. I was given very clear instructions for my continued care. If I needed any more follow up visits, I was advised to call the office and they would get me in for an appointment. I find Dr. Sammy Hutman to be a medical professional who clearly understand how to heal patients and lift their spirits at the same time. He is a a true gentleman. I am grateful for his care, knowledge and bedside manners. Dr. Sammy Hutman is just the best! He makes his patents feel comfortable, has a sense of humor and accommodates them, even with his busy work schedule!

After spending a few days working for Dr. Hutman, I have full confidence on him as a Dr who truly cares about people. I would not think twice about making him a number one choice if I or my family needed a Dermatologist.

Worst Office ever. DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME. My daughter has been suffering for months with acne and has gone through cycle of BS after cycle of BS with this office. They keep dropping the ball with her meds, she goes back and forth for blood work and then pregnancy test, then blood work etc. The Dr. forgets to fill the scripts and we start all over again. Not to mention the rude staff. Unforgivable and incompetent.

This doctor couldn't diagnose dandruff. He was abrupt, dismissive, and did not do even one test even though he said he had no idea what I had. He prescribed nothing, not even for the itching I had.He just played with his computer the whole brief time. A return visit with a different Dr. finally did some tests and correctly diagnosed me in the same group. He just seemed like he didn't care or have the time to find out.
