Dr. Samir Shakfeh, MD

A doctor that’s been doing this profession for 40 plus years I’m shocked how my labor went. First of all, dr shakfeh does not get to know you on a personal level, he has his NP’s see you during your prenatal appointments, so come time for you to deliver your baby, Dr. Shakfeh won’t know who you are or your history. Second, he’ll dismiss your pain. I came in to the hospital with painful active labor contractions and he asked me if I was “over exaggerating”? And wouldn't admit me for another 4 hours. After I started crying from pain did he finally admit me and sure enough I had my baby 6 hours after. Would not recommend this doctor.

It was my first time meeting Dr. Shakfeh at my last appointment and he was the NICEST man to my husband and I. He took the time to answer each and every one of our questions. I feel confident in him delivering a healthy baby for us and will continue to see him after the baby is born! The staff is just AMAZING as well. They all treat us so nice and couldn’t have picked a better Obgyn to go to! I highly recommend! Thank you again to all the wonderful staff, nurses, and Doctor himself! Keep up the great work!!

Excellent experience with all the medical staff, nurses, ultrasound technician, and front staff. Professional, efficient, organized and kind. I've seen Dr Shafeh, Roni, and Jessica and I feel my baby and I are in good hands.

Dr. Shakfeh delivered our grandson. He has good bedside manners and an awesome personality. Dr. Shakfeh is compassionate, professional, and cares deeply about his patients. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone in need of an OB-GYN.

He delivered my 3rd child she was a vback and my 4th child was a c-section. He is the best doctor I could have asked for. His staff is great as well. I recommend who ever I know to him.

He is great.his office staff is great I had a lump in my breast and Danielle was fantastic she helped me set up my appointment with Dr. Wright and helped me get the tests I needed before my appointment with the surgeon. I have been a patient of Dr. Shakfeh’s when I found out I was pregnant in 2012, I was referred by a friend who said “you won’t be disappointed”. Dr.Shakfeh is seriously the BEST hands down!! He is very compassionate, always listens and is pretty comical. In the midst of my pregnancy I found out I was a carrier for CF & had had gest diabetes, Dr sat down with me and discussed what that meant and explained safety for me and my growing child. You will READ & HEAR and bout long wait times and it’s TRUE. Sometimes the wait is short and your in and out and sometimes your there for an hour + ...(I secretly left the practice In my early pregnancy, fed up with the wait, but no other DR gave me the feeling of care and sincerity that Shakfeh provided, so I returned) during delivery I was scared but his pure confidence was calming. I would NOT and will NOT GO TO ANOTHER OBGYN!! One thing I love, Shakfeh doesn’t send a strange Dr. to deliver your child, he shows up for most important day on time!

I would highly recommend Dr. Shakfeh. An appointment was handled well. I was seen on time. Dr. Shafeh has a great bedside manner. He makes you feel at ease. He also has a very good sense of humor.

I have been seeing Dr. Shakfeh since 1992. He is very personable. Well educated in his field. Makes me feel very comfortable when it is time to do exam. Very funny, never depressed or a grouch. I highly recommend his practice for your needs.

Dr. Shakfeh was knowledgeable and kind as he examined and explained to me what problem I was experiencing. He then referred me to a specialist in that particular field. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone searching for a OG-GYN physician.

I’ve been going to Dr Shakfeh for 24 years since the birth of my daughter- he is absolutely hands down the best at what he does! He and his staff are first class in my book!!

I usually don't write reviews, but as this has been one of the worst physicians experiences throughout my 3 pregnancies I wanted to share my experience. First off I felt my care was not being managed. I initially started my care with Dr Shakfeh who was pleasant, but after our initial visit all my follow up care was by his staff or Interns in training who could not assess my care as he was an Intern in training and did not even have my chart information before seeing me. They provided inaccurate lab results advising my iron was low and that I needed to take supplements throughout my pregnancy which was never followed up on to determine if the supplements were working. Then I found out after switching my care that the results they gave me were incorrect so I did not need to take the supplements in the first place. That alone with dealing with the aggravation of none of the testing being done in office so all lab work had to be done at a separate visit. No urine samples, sugar, or iron le

I love Dr. Shakfe! He is awesome! He knows and is passionate about his profession and he make sure all of his patients are comfortable. The front desk administration is awesome too.
