Dr. Samina Hasan, MD

Dr. Hasan is by far the BEST Dr. I have ever seen. She took her time and explained things so well. She has a wonderful sense of humor and I left speechless by my experience. She is sooo knowledgeable and I really value that she educates her patients and really listens. The staff were laughing and it seems like such a positive environment. 10 out of 10! If you have her as a Dr, you are lucky. She is one in a million.

She's very pompous and doesn't care about the patient's time. I overheard her nurse telling a pharmaceutical rep that she wouldn't be interested in her services because the doctor didn't use computers. I witnessed this as well when she excused herself from my visit. She was taking so long that I had to go tthe bathroom and saw her in her medical library reading a book. The last time I ever visited her she told my mother and I to shut up after I had requested a referral to an endocrinologist. She said that the only referral she'd give me would be for a psychiatrist. My sister is a psychiatrist and said many doctors do this when they can't figure out actual physical issues in patients. She was fired after that and I ended up using my dad's doctor as my new PCP while trying to figure out what was truly wrong with me. My request to see an endocrinologist was legitimate to a I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis in addition to my hypothyroidism. I have a very rare AI disease too that she missed.

She is so sweet but the wait time is horrible! I’m always waiting 1-3 hours for my appointment and her NP or PA (not sure of her title) is unfriendly and does not explain things well at all. Overall Dr.Hasan is nice and explains things well but it’s a complete waste of a day going to her office.

Dr. Hasan is a caring professional who always goes the extra mile. She is pro-active and takes all the time needed with the office call. She expects her patients to follow the plan! She is knowledgeable and has that warm and friendly bedside manner. Her staff is second to none. We love her!
