Dr.Girgis is very kind and he spoke to me and my family and explained everything that was going on and how it needed to be resolved! Had an ablation a month ago and had a follow up and Dr. Girgis was amazing! I recommend him to everyone I talk to and ask who my cardiologist is! Hands down the best!!

Excellent doctor and practice
Dr. Girgis has been wonderful from appointment, through several heart procedures, to the present day. He’s not only an excellent physician, but also kind and caring. I am blessed to be his patient. His staff is also top notch, and among the best I’ve ever seen.

Dr. Lockhart and Nurse Tara
Dr. Lockhart is the absolute best. Mom’s PCP referred us to a handful of different specialists to treat multiple diagnoses. By the time we got to Dr. Lockhart we were completely overwhelmed with her plan of care. He was so kind as he patiently explained what was happening to my mom and why. He lined us out with all our appointments describing each doctor’s job in my mom’s plan of care and the order in which the treatments needed to happen. Nurse Tara lined out an important referral and followed up with us by phone. We felt so well taken care of. Dr. Lockhart gave us hope. He talked about small changes in her lifestyle that would improve her quality of life. I felt like that part of our conversation was as much for me as it was for her, if not more. He cares about people and obviously loves helping them. I hope we can keep him here in Lubbock. I’ve never met a doctor quite like him. May God continue to bless him with Healing Hands and a Kind Heart in Jesus’s Name.

Dr Girgis is a brilliant doctor who not only gives great patient care he takes time to explain what what and why he is doing a procedure. After the procedure he talks with the family and again with patient and family. He truly cares for his patients which puts him on the top of the list. I believe my husband is alive today and doing well because of being under the care of Dr. Girgis.

Horrible Visit
Completely dismissive and not helpful at all. Spent less than 5 minutes with me and didn’t even ask me about my medical history or what symptoms I was having. If you are having issues with POTS or Dysautonomia, go somewhere else.

Would not recommend
Dr Girgis didn’t know why my wife’s heart kept going to 150-170 after an ablation so instead of trying to find the cause he told her that was normal and that she just needed to lose weight. Um…I’m sorry but your heart rate should not be above 100 sitting or laying down or even 130 brushing your own hair. Definitely should not be 170 with very minimal activity. Her heart issue is apparently beyond him and instead of admitting he wasn’t sure he said that it was normal. My wife felt defeated after that visit and didn’t want to go see any other doctors about her problem. This is a big part of the problem with todays healthcare. Luckily I persuaded her to go back to her cardiologist who actually listened to what she said and tried to help her. No thanks to Dr. Girgis. Save yourself some time and find a better doctor who actually cares about you.
