Dr. Pitts is a nice and educated physician. However, she carries negligence and absent-mindedness when it comes to administrative matters. I have had a number of issues regarding billing as she has repeatedly submitted incorrect diagnoses codes that have resulted in way more trouble and stress than necessary. Additionally, she has violated HIPAA standards by mistakenly sending me another patient's results. I understand that mistakes occur; however, she has made the same exact mistakes over and over again. I have decided to switch doctors not only due to these incidents but also because of her lack of availability, the rudeness of her staff (particularly office coordinator Tee), and her delayed responses. Issues that would be addressed in a matter of a couple weeks took a couple of months. Note she is in clinic only on Wednesdays which explains her lack of care and attention. I would strongly recommend seeing a more attentive, reliable, and mindful doctor.
