Laziest Physician Ever
Saw Dr. McKay once after my doctor moved away. I was beginning a LOA for a newly diagnosed, debilitating medical condition(s) that landed me in the hospital two times, inpatient for a week long stint. She refused to do any workup, or place any referrals, went out on a month long vacation completely leaving me hanging and upon coming back refused to sign my papers for work with no explanation (and again, offered no workup options). Told me to 'resume eating a normal, balanced diet', to ignore the dietitians guidelines for my diagnosis & i'll likely 'slowly get better' - not exactly how gastroparesis works, my friend. Honestly, appalling & abysmal healthcare.

Originally my wife’s MD (and fellow Victoria BC native) we both see her now. She is bright, caring, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and just all-round excellent. Proactive but conservative when it comes to treatment (which I favor, as a medical researcher). Can’t recommend her too highly.
