Dr. Samantha Brown, MD

Seeing a new provider is always scary. I recently moved here from California and was dreading finding someone new. Dr Brown was so easy to talk to and nonjudgmental, I felt comfortable with her and opened up about things I never could tell my other psychiatrists. I’ve been seeing her for a few months now and am slowly getting better. Her office staff are really nice but if you call the hold times are long. Luckily, Dr Brown always answers my messages quickly and has her office call me if I need something.

Dr. B took the time to really listen to me. She does both therapy and medications and has given me great advice. She has always been on time for our appointments and answered all my questions when I send her messages between our appointments. I think she is pretty popular because I had to wait a long time to get into see her. When I called for an appointment her next available for a new patient was over 3 months but my mom’s friend recommended her. The wait was 100% worth it. She is really smart and explained a lot about meditations to me.

Awesome doc. Always on time for my appointments. Very understanding and empathetic. Doesn't judge me. Doesn't seem to have issues with race, gender, or sexual orientation. Easy to reach through patient portal for help between appointments or questions. I have done both in person and virtual appointments with her. She is very flexible and accommodating. Even squeezed me in before normal hours one time when she was fully booked.

Dr. Brown was the most caring doctor I have ever met. I’ve struggled with mental health problems for more than 30 years and she really took the time to understand my history and what I need now. She noticed things other docs didn’t because she listened to me. It’s been a few months if treatment with her and I’m feeling better than I have in decades. I referred a few of my friends and my son to see her as well.

she was 15 minutes late to the appointment and acted as though I was. She came in acting impatient, judgmental, and annoyed at me. If I were still in the dark place I was a week ago I don't know what would've happened. I waited a month to see her for it to only last a few miserable minutes.
