Dr. Sam Fereidouni, MD

I had bad experiences all of 2024.Lab work not prescribed even though we had appts. Office visits confirmed but when we went to the office, we were told we had no appt, Prescriptions were not right all year. Trouble trying to reach someone and when I did, the issues were not resolved.

I saw Dr. Fereidouni the first couple of visits and now see Ann Marie every one at this practice has been amazing! I been going there for a little over a year. The drive from Mesa is so worth it!!

Dr. Fereidouni is a very knowledgeable, pleasant and thorough diagnostician and doctor. He delves deeply, listens well and is patient and complete with his explanations. His analyses and recommendations with many problems over five years time have been spot on.

I was diagnosed with gout several years ago. I kept my uric acid level down as much as I could by staying on a strict diet and taking appropriate vitamins. I had maybe one gout attack a year. Then my nightmare began. I was referred to Dr. Fereidouni as my new family doctor who informed me that my uric acid level was too high and that I needed to take Uloric in order to lower it. As of last Christmas I have had six gout attacks...that is six in four months. I have not heard from Dr. Fereidouni, the patient portal is a joke and the office does not seem to care.

We are leaving because of their unethical handing of our recent bouts with the corona virus. On my 1st visit to see Dr Ferreidouni, he strongly suggested I take one of the vaccines offered by his practice. He did not discuss any of the possible side effects with me, so I declined. When I called is office to say that I had the virus, he called me back personally & berated me like a child for not getting the vaccine. I was due for a regular check up weeks after this, and could not get one, because even though a month after having recovered from the virus & having no symptoms, he wanted me to have a negative covid test. Well two PCR tests and a month later, & back to work, I was still coming up as positive. His staff said I should take the other test his office has, that would show a more accurate result, but isn't covered by insurance & would cost me $140. That puts him and his practice into the categories of "Advocates', out for a $$, not honest healthcare providers.

Went to see Dr. Fereidouni regarding weight gain. All he would talk about was my thyroid, which was under control with another dr. Insisted I change meds. I was hesitant as it was a new med and was concerned about cost. His response was that he would be hesitant to treat me if the cost of meds were a concern. That was my first and last visit. He does NOT listen or care about your concerns.

Dr. Fereidouni is very supportive and helpful. He will listen carefully and explain everything completely. He is the best PCP I have ever had.

This doctor does not know about Type 1 diabetes. He may have book knowledge but that pales in comparison to how it actually works in real life. Worst yet, he doesn't listen. I do NOT recommend any Type 1's go to him.

Excellent caring Doctor and staff, Spent time and discussed concerns and came up with a game plan. The whole office is very responsive and caring.

I have been going to Dr Sam for several years. He asks questions and actually listens. Seems very knowledgeable and caring.

I have been a patient of the providers at Aveon Health in Scottsdale for several years now. They are knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. I left my previous Dr. of 12 years, down the street from my home and travel 30+ minutes each way due to the exceptional care I receive and am truly grateful.

I wish I could say something nice however my experience was not pleasant. Dr Fereidouni informed me that I should take Benadryl which is contraindicated for anyone with prostrate problems, which I have. Second he informed me that I could place ANY eyedrop with a steroid in my ear for my earache. He is WRONG Aminoglycoside's such as Tobradex are considered ototoxic. Third he gave me a medication which required prior authorization and his office has never responded. Then He overbilled me $78.

Failed to place multiple referrals he said he was putting in. These included eye doctor, cardiology and durable medical equipment. Cost to me was significant; not having these referrals in place. This office is a mess...!!!

I cannot believe this doctor has a DR. in front of his name. He is no more than an office manager. He was not professional or knowledgeable about my condition. He wanted me to take tests that were not appropriate to my condition. Their billing dept. doesn't know what they are doing. I could go on and on. If I of need an internist, I would look further.

Excellent Doctor!! I drive 30 miles to see Dr Fereidouno. He takes time to listen. After many years of seeing doctors with no answers, I found one that is willing to work with me without considering me crazy. He is a one stop doctor (blood work, well women exam, physical exams, and more).

Dr. Fereidouni spends time with his patients and explains things so you can understand. He doesn't take short cuts and listens to your needs. I never feel rushed out of his office. I recommended him to my husband and my husband was very pleased with the doc as well. His office and staff are friendly and courteous. The office is also clean and modern.

Great bedside manner! He truly takes the time to listen and he explains everything thoroughly. Office is very clean, high-tech, and staff is very pleasant. Everything about Dr. Fereidouni and Aveon health will not disappoint!
