I was treated for Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy while I was back in NY and was very pleased with the outcome. I have fully recovered after the surgery. So praise to God and thanks to her. She treated me with proper care and professionalism. Some of the negative comments over here pushed me to share my experience. Thank you.

Can't believe I am writing about a bad experience from 3-4 years ago. This was my first and last visit and I feel uncomfortable going to an OBGYN now because of this visit. I was in pain, uncomfortable, the assistant was in the room laughing at me (I was crying btw). The doctor actually told me after I left, that I don't need to have sex until after I was married! Confusing, embarrassing, and front staff was very rude and upset at me showing up as a last appointment - which was made by them by the way, and I was on time. I am 28 by the way, and will never ever forget this experience. I never take the time to write reviews but my current issues triggered this memory. Awful

She was awful. 1st appointment I went: I was there for a check up & then get an inplant. She told me oh not a problem, explained how long it might take because first insurance has to cover it, & then she can order it etc. I completely understood. I thought that interaction was nice. After a few weeks I received a call stating I had to come back. I asked why? The person on the phone (not her) said it was for more testing because some results were concerning. Fast forward to that appt. i was pulled into a room, told to get undressed and sign paperwork. THAT was when I found out WHAT would be done to me. During the procedure, dr had no problem having her assistants come in and out of my room while my legs were up in the air. & talking about my medical history to me in front of her assistant. Then i asked about the implant from the 1st appt. she tells me oh we don’t do that here. I told you. You must not remember then tells me to go to planned parenthood.. yeah no. I have excellent memory.

went to her because she was one of very few Bangladeshi American gynecologist in LI. I needed to get a biopsy which couldn't be completed at her office so she told me her nurse would reach out to me with hospital details and schedule last year in September. It is July 2019 and I still have not gotten a call from that office with my biopsy schedule. I reached out to them several times in between as well which were unsuccessful. I didn't think Northwell having over 30 branches didn't have a single spot for barely 1 hr of procedure. I changed my Gyno soon after and got the biopsy done by mid December at Mt. Sinai. Another observation I made was that, she is extremely unprofessional, she picks up her cellphone in the middle of check ups and consultation over non serious issues like "what time she will be home." Due to my work schedule I always used to take the last appointment, but she always rushed me. My thing was why would you take my appointment if you can't give the time?

Went because I was having frequent yeast infections or BV and I saw her 4-5 times in 6 months. At the worst vaginal irritation, she told me I probably had herpes and sent everything out for testing, including blood. I sat crying in the office as she walked out. We later found out it was just a bad yeast infection after taking antibiotics for bronchitis that winter. Are you serious?
