Dr. Saleemah Fahmi, MD

Loved her at first, but then service went down hill after her office staff changed. Her phone system is voicemail only, which makes it hard to get through to someone, and you will never receive a callback from her office. I called for 3 wks straight trying to get a refill on critical medicine that I have to have & never received a call back and had to drive almost an hour to her office just to get her staff to call in my refill. My cardiologist tried to reach her for over 2 wks regarding a prescription & she never received a call back from the office. I recently received a call on a Thursday to go get lab work done for an upcoming appointment on that following Tuesday, that I went to have done & created a big bill, to only have her office call me at 7:56 pm on Monday night to tell me that my PCP referral was expired for an appt they next day at 4:15. I tried scheduling a new patient appointment and I got hung up on three times. At this point I’m only trying to get my complaint to the right person because your office staff is so rude and unprofessional it doesn’t even matter how good of a doctor you are to continue to allow these type of people to be at the forefront of your business. I have never had to deal with people so disrespectful in my life.

Dr. Fahmi is an excellent doctor, but the person running the office is unprofessional and does not follow through with correcting errors. I have been fighting with the office for a miscoded bloodwork from January 2022 for them to correct and after phone calls and faxes, their error is still not fixed. Promises to correct it were just lies to appease the patient while on the phone with the lab company, requests to call me were ignored, faxes were ignored. It is extremely disgusting that a great doctor will lose patients due to mismanagement and ignornce of office management.

Dr. Fahmi has taken care of my thyroid issues for years. She goes out of her way to help you and offer additional treatments (at the expense of her valuable time). She cares and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend her!

I really loved working with Dr. Fahmi for my mother's care but I am terribly disappointed with customer service. It seems counterintuitive to have voicemail only based doctor's office. But I am in favor of new methods if they work. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work that well here. I have called on several occasions and every extension I tried had a full inbox so I can't even leave a message. This has gone on for days. It makes me so sad because Dr. Fahmi is incredible! I would highly recommend her for her expertise but should you need to communicate with her office, just be prepared to be frustrated with the ineffective communication.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fahmi since 2015. While I appreciate her as my physician, I am completely frustrated that no one ever answers the phone, and return calls are very slow in coming. I have actually driven to the doctor’s office to speak with the staff in person when the need for an answer was urgent enough. I may need to do that today because I have a conflict with my scheduled appointment. I’ve left two messages on her office voicemail. I don’t want to get charged for an office visit when I don’t show up, even though I called days ahead of time to request a reschedule. This may lead to me switching doctors. Unfortunate, for sure.

I had labwork completed on 8/8, and I was told results would be called to me in 7-10 business days (which is a long time). Three weeks later, I still have no results. I called the office, and I was told that the results were received, but Dr. Fahmi has not reviewed them.

Dr Fahmi is very knowledgeable and helpful. However, it very difficult to get hold of her office/staff. They do not answer the phone. Always have to leave a message and then it takes days to get a response, IF you get a response. I would recommend her office staff be more approachable, more available, more responsive to patients. And answer the phone calls as they come in! Get back to people within an hour or two. I understand if they can't occasionally, but this should not be their standard business practice! Fahmi good. Response time and answering to phone calls, extremely bad.

Dr. Fahmi is a wonderful doctor. She listens and has great bedside manner. She is awesome and I would highly recomend her for services.

I would most likely refer family and friends to Dr. Fahmi. She doesn't rush you off. She makes sure to answer every question or concern you have no matter how long it takes. Very knowledgeable

Dr, Fahmi is very intuitive to my needs. She is thorough when it comes to the changes I may go through. She is also aware and compassionate when making sure that I have everything I need for my healthy journey. There are times for which my wait may be long, yet I know first hand that she is making sure that she has all the necessary reports and blood work to make the appropriate decision with my care. I enjoy the professionalism of her staff. Those ladies are kind and full of smiles.

The staff was extremely disorganized and unprofessional when I visited Dr. Fahmi. It was impossible to reach her with diabetic emergencies. I changed after 4 or 5 unsatisfactory visits.
