I have been in psychiatric care for the better part of my life and I have never encountered someone like this. He claimed I had a diagnosis I never had and spent the entire time fighting me on it when it was never something I had. He made incredibly pointed comments about my PTSD and how people 'make up memories sometimes' when he asked what I had been through, nor would he listen to the details I was sharing. He made a comment about how '95% of women think they have ADHD'. He would ask several questions and interrupt me when I attempted to answer any of them. He constantly got details I said wrong and had to be corrected several times. I am stunned. The good thing was that he did get me some medications and listened to my concerns about medications, but not without a comment about how my medication past indicates that I clearly have the diagnosis I don't have. I will not be returning to his care.

I waited 5 months for an appointment to get treatment for ADHD (already diagnosed my a psychologist). After a 35 minutes of a phone interview Dr. Hussain said that I don't have ADHD, because I did not seek treatment when I was first diagnosed, and because I successfully earned a college degree and became a teacher. Throughout the interview Dr. Hussain was frequently confused about the timeline of events he asked me to describe to him and even the words that I was saying.

Went in to get back on prescribed meds from another doc in the office since I had to go through over a year of rescheduled appt.he is not my doc but who they set me up with. Didn't look at my file to see I suffer various conditions panic disorder ptsd fibromyalgia chronic back issues. He saw me shaking basically called me a drug addict and said I'm on so many addictive meds I am probably selling them on the street. And said the only reason I wanted to get back on my adderall was to lose weight.
