Poor communication
After an endoscopy from Dr. Cheruku, I experienced a very sore throat and fever and chills. The sore throat lasted 8 days, but the fever only one day. She failed to communicate about her findings so I had to insist on a follow-up appointment. I received no advice on how to handle my condition. Communication was very poor and the painful throat and fever were completely unexpected.

Dr. Cheruku diagnosed my father's cancer a few years ago, which helped to save his life. I have been a patient for several years and she has always been courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. She has a very pleasant demeanor and makes one feel at ease. I am facing a probable cancer diagnosis and I am thankful for her thoroughness, as other doctors had dismissed my concerns. I may have a fight ahead but her skill as a doctor has at least given me a chance.

Spent plenty of time with my. Listened to all my concerns, and we had a very good discussion of my treatment options. Had to imagine how anything could have been better.

I will not refer anyone to this person. I saw her one time....she messed up my medical information in my chart. Told me to come back in three weeks when I was bleeding, terrible pain, and extremely weak. She only had time available to do a colonoscopy in three weeks so that's when she put me on her appointment book. I walked out of her office, to the front desk, and asked to see a different physician immediately. I had no trust in her whatsoever.
