Dr. Sagi Cohen, MD

Dr. Cohen has been my primary doctor for about a year but have worked with him for years as staff at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. He is thorough, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. He exudes empathy and compassion, making his patients feel heard and valued. In addition, appointments are prompt, and wait times are minimal. My experience thus far has been nothing short of outstanding, and I am grateful for the positive impact he has had on my health journey. Highly recommended!

When I first met Dr. Cohen I was immediately impressed with the respect and kindness he gives his patients. He allows enough time with his office visits to explain health issues, lab reports and will answer all the patient's questions. He returns all non-emergency calls or emails within a few hours and is excellent in following up via phone call, email or zoom. If there is an emergency, he is right on it! I feel Dr. Cohen is a very dedicated doctor, and his patients are his number one priority. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen!

Dr Cohen has been an amazing doctor since joining his practice 2 years ago. He is very thorough, answers all your questions and does not overbook, allowing more quality time for his patients.

Dr Cohen looked after me at Providence Cedar Sinai hospital in late December 2020/early January 2021 during the height of Covid. I had suffered a cardiac arrest and he made sure that I was being looked after by hospital staff and also communicated with my family daily as visitors were not allowed. He is the best and to a large degree I am still around because of him.

I have had the best experience with Dr. Cohen. He is very professional and he cares. He is good a diagnosing and his follow up is the best. He is easy to reach and to talk to and I highly recommend him. I met him years ago during a hospital stay and knew right away I wanted him to be my primary care physician - a very good decision on my part!

Dr. Cohen was my doctor at Providence Tarzana Medical Center and was excellent. He was compassionate, very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. He identified a hidden life threatening diagnosis and immediately arranged the surgery. I can't thank Dr. Cohen enough for saving my life. He went above and beyond for me. He followed up with me after the surgery and is just the best doctor I've had. Thank you, Dr. Cohen for all that you do.

I really think it's safe to say Dr. Cohen saved my life. I have never met a more attentive doctor. He asks the right questions -- medical questions -- to get to the bottom of issues. And he is consistently terrific, always professional even when you may be feeling scared. I have been lucky to be Dr. Cohen’s patient for the better part of three years and have had good doctors but he is the best physician I’ve ever had. When I got very ill, he made sure I had the best care imaginable and checked in with me even when he wasn’t working. His bedside manner is incredibly kind and compassionate, and his follow-up thorough. I moved out of L.A. but still make the trip to see him because I have not found a doctor as dedicated, professional, and compassionate as he is.

We will be forever in debt to Dr. Cohen. My husband was rushed to the hospital with Covid. Dr. Cohen became his dr. there . We could have not asked for a more compassionate, caring and knowledgeable dr. So hard when you can't be with your family. He never rushed me and even on the weekend came to check on my husband and keep me in the loop. He always let me ask questions and also asked me questions about my husband. He was definitely called to be a dr. Dr Cohen if you read this the words"thank you" do not seem adequate for the compassionate care you gave my husband. 100 stars is the rating we would give him. And Tarzana hospital, we can not say enough good things about them just like the dr. overworked and exhausted but always kind & compassionate. We feel so blessed to have had Dr. Cohen and the staff at Tarzana take care of Robert. Thank you , thank you, thank you.

I have worked with Dr. Cohen for many years. He is very compassionate and really cares about the well being of his patients. He is very thorough and gives his patients the time they need and explains everything. I was recently out with COVID 19 exposure being positive. I was in daily contact with Dr. Cohen via email on how I was doing, if I was having any symptoms and providing him with vital signs. He was very quick with providing necessary paperwork to either my insurance or myself so I could forward it to my insurance. I highly recommend him to any one looking for an excellent MD.

I feel so blessed to have such an amazing doctor. Dr Cohen is the most thorough doctor I have ever had. Whether you go to the office or have a telemedicine call he will take the time to explain everything and never make you feel rushed. He is caring and compassionate and most important the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever had. Anyone lucky enough to be in his care is in the best hands.

I highly recommend Dr. Cohen. He is intelligent, kind, trustworthy, and very patient. He has amazing bedside manners, which can be difficult to find in many practices. When my father was briefly hospitalized, he received the best level of care possible from Dr. Cohen. He took the time to answer questions not only from the patient himself, but also concerned family members. He checked in on us and explained everything in specific details. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Cohen!
