Dr/PA- was always well prepared from initial interview, - very empathetic staff, that listened to my concerns - they are patient, well trained and communicative. This helped build my self-confidence and trust in them. The staff responded quickly, with a sense of concern, when I called after hours for non-emergency issue. At all times, I felt that there was a personal interest in my care.Dr. Vijapura & Anna Purtin worked together to coordinate my care with various other doctors to transition me from medications that were adversely effecting me. I could not be more satisfied with my care and treatment. I have recommended Dr. Vijapura/Anna to family and friends in the past.

Always an amazing and caring staff

I saw Dr Macaluso and Dr Sagar Vijapura. They both are caring physicians. They both have knowledge of different medicines and what to prescribe for individual patients. I was very comfortable talking to them. They helped me deal with some long standing problems and some current ones. I will miss being able to talk to them.

I saw Dr. Vijapura as well as Dr. Nawaz, both virtually via Zoom during the last year for worsening depression and addiction issues. At first I thought I was just experiencing the same tough adjustment we all were going through during the pandemic, as well as adjusting to being newly retired. I had been on medication for 20 years for mild depression but through my visits with Dr. Vijapura my medication was adjusted to something newer and I was directed to additional resources to get the help I needed. I am doing SO much better now and heartily recommend these doctors to anyone dealing with these issues. They were comfortably easy to talk to. Don’t put it off, help is available.

I started seeing Dr. V last year. I let him know from day 1 of treatment that I would be pursuing a medical marijuana card in the state of Florida for sleep purposes, and he never said a word. In January 2021 I got my card, and when I told him, he tried to convince me to get reassessed and/or give up my card. When I asked him why, he was unable to give me a straight answer. If he had presented me with helpful information, I would have been more willing to hear him out. He suggested trying a sleep medication, and I told him I had already tried many. This was a really uncomfortable session for me, and when I did not listen to him, he suggested I find another psychiatrist rather than educating me on the topic of medical marijuana use. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I felt almost like a child being lectured for something, yet was not told why doing that said thing was wrong. I don't feel comfortable enough to continue our professional relationship.

I had the privilege to have an such attentive to details, with on point diagnostic judgment, caring doctor. He helped me control the level of stress & anxiety that was causing me physical issues such as stomach and GERD symptoms, serious enough to ruin my career as an opera singer. Dr. V is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and professional. He asked thoughtful questions and listened intently. He immediately puts you at ease and genuinely cares about your well being. On top of that, he was extremely knowledgeable, took time to explain everything clearly, and was collaborative. I have never felt so comfortable at a doctor's office. I have never met a physician who cares more about his patients than Dr. Vijapura. In making a treatment plan, he made sure he knew everything about me that was relevant. Then after we picked a medicine, he called me a few days after the appointment to see if I was having any side effects and how everything was going. I feel very comfortable and at peace knowing that I have a very smart physician who is very invested in my health. Dr. V is easy to talk to, kind, caring, and thorough!

Dr. Vijapura is wonderful. I had him while he was a resident at Brigham and Women's Psychiatric Services in Boston and he was always dutiful, compassionate, funny, and extremely responsive. I am confident he is going to have a lot of success in the future if he continues to practice with the diligence and attentiveness in which he cared for me as his patient. I highly recommend him as a physician. He is far from out of touch, and, well, there are not enough adjectives to express my satisfaction!
