I can’t say enough about Dr. Azam - highly recommended by another healthcare professional and provider. Dr. Azam listened attentively and responded emphatically to every one of my concerns. He was thoughtful, respectful, and made me feel immediately at ease. He was thorough, yet took the time to address every one of my issues. He offered explanations, observations, and recommendations when appropriate. He bridged the gap between behavioral and pharmacological treatment plans, and always took into consideration my personal beliefs and values. He was resourceful, respectful, and one of the most approachable and professional physicians I have ever known. As a physician myself, my expectations are often very high, and Dr. Azam never disappointed me, often going above and beyond what I would expect. I have been going to Dr. Azam for over a year. He has been helping me primarily through medication management for my Anxiety and ADD. His office setting is relaxed and I find him to be an intelligent and calming person. While we do not delve deeply into issues through therapy, he does offer advice and suggestions where appropriate.

Dr. Azam is absolutely wonderful! He is the best Psychiatrist I have ever been to. It is difficult to get an appointment with a psychiatrist in Miami, however I was able to get in with Dr. Azam no problem. He truly cares and listens to you. Had a horrible experience while looking for a new psychiatrist. He was abrasive, and upon questioning my religious views i felt uncomfortable. He did nothing to re-evaluate the medication I’ve been on for 6 years and all but tossed me out. I don’t know if i got him on a bad day or that’s just his bedside manner, but I’d never go back even if his overpriced payments were free. I left in tears and anger and had an anxiety attack to boot from my experience. Horrible doctor.

Finding a good psychiatrist can be a challenge and I feel very lucky to have found Dr Azam. He is a great listener, and conveys concern for his patients. He is hopeful and optimistic and is respectful of his patient’s concerns and feelings. He is conscientious and respectful of the patient's time.
