Knowledgable, Good Communicator
I had my first appointment with Dr. Shadekamyan this morning and was impressed with her knowledge of how to work with me to control my diabetes. She explained her treatment plan, and answered all my questions, both about diabetes and other issues I have concerning my health. She clearly explained why she wants to change one of my medications to something that will help my condition better and has a plan for when and how to make the transition. She's willing to work with me in supporting my efforts to control my diabetes by lifestyle and not use any more medicine than necessary. I believe we will work really well together. She is a hidden gem, and I hope my review encourages others to give her a try.
