Dr. Sabrina Gunn, DO

I was switched to this Dr. for some reason about a week before my appointment. Not professional, couldn't find things on MyChart which I was easily able to pull up—seemed completely disinterested. I told her about my genetic testing (which is also viewable to her) and the reason I take one of my medications, which she said she doesn't like prescribing stimulants, which work amazing for my situation and I desperately need just to get me through the day. Said she'd see me in 3 months and instantly hung up the video call.

Dr.Gunn put me at ease when asking questions regarding my symptoms, and listened actively. She quickly assessed my concerns and provided a treatment plan regarding those concerns.

She really cares and very knowledgeable in her field. I have been doing much better since being under her care.

It was refreshing and I was happy to that I was getting my meds adjusted and testing done

Dr Gunn was very approachable and responsive to my needs.

found out last minute dr 50 year experance gone without explanation would not say why.had been paitient for 12 years. was told this type therpy was no longer available. Did not seem very paitent orentated.Others said the same .Sure you could care less. Corprate medicine.Positive its not the person who told me faullt.Sent in the newest person they had to face paient. looked very much the corprate way out with the old in with the new.Left me with out doctor so much for the patient.At lest a little warning would be human.

Dr. Gunn is amazing. She listens and responds with compassion. I trust her recommendations because she clearly outlines her reasoning and listens to the feedback. That makes me feel included in my treatment plan. I'm very grateful to be a patient of hers.

Dr Gunn was very nice and listened to me. I was extremely anxious about my first appt with a psychiatrist but I felt heard and cared about. I'm happy to have her be a part of my healing journey

She refused to prescribe a medication that my previous psychiatrist was prescribing me because she didn't know what it was. She didn't even try to educate herself on what it was and refused to do it. Also, when prescribing other mental health meds she only would refer to what was suggested in her book or her online reference. Then when we ran out of those options she told me I should try another doctor because she didn't know what to do next. Personality wise, she is very nice, but doctor wise I think she is too new to the field and doesn't have experience with patients that haven't had great results from their first few medications.

Don’t bother if you have Medicaid

I would like to say that this was a blessing to be referred to this group. However, it has been a living nightmare. My husband was referred to this group because he needed fairly immediate care and they had openings within 2 weeks! All they said they needed was a referral. His primary doctor sent one in that Friday. Today (following Monday), I called to see if they had received it. They did. To my shock they said they referred him to a different inner city pych group. I asked why? They said they were accepting Medicaid patients and had plenty of openings. The office manager was reluctant to answer me and just said she didn’t know that’s just the way it is. I asked her for her direct supervisors phone number and she gave me a complaint hotline number (this had nothing to do with billing!) instead. The office manager than proceeded to call the primary doctor and “tell on me” for being rude. I was never rude, purely an advocate for my husband who was begging for help. Truly disgusting.
