Great Team
Dr Benefield has a great team! The lady up front is always smiling and greets me with a friendly face. She knows me by name and makes me feel comfortable before I even get to the back to see the doctor! The nurses are friendly too. Dr Benefield is quick and I never have to wait to long.

There is no doubting that Dr. Benefield is an excellent doctor, she delivered my baby safely and I am thankful for that, but there are a couple things I wish I had known. Her bedside is not great. 1)She was rude and dismissive to my husband. Because of covid, I could have only one support person with me and that was my husband, but every time he brought up a concern or made small talk she had an attitude with him that was unexplained. 2) She was pushy. The morning of my induction the nurse started me on Pitocin at 7am.Dr. Benefield knocks at 730 & doesn't greet me, no Good Morning,How did you sleep, are you ready to have a baby Nothing kind or lighthearted. Instead I was met with "Ready to break your water?" I know that contractions get more intense after your water breaks so I asked if we could wait to see if it will break on its own.She says "Well, this is how you have a baby". No Duh!Wewentback&fortonthis I just wantedmy waterto break on its own My sweet nurse had to advocate for me.

I have been with Dr. Benefield for over 15 years and I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially if you have high risk pregnancies. She is very knowledgeable and has always provided me with A+ care. She cared for me during three high risk pregnancies and she referred me to specialists that she trusted and knew would provide me with the best care. She has awesome bedside manner and will go to war with anyone to assure her patients receive proper care. I’ve never had a problem with her office accepting my insurance and she even made sure I received a refund from a credit that was on my account. I absolutely love her and I wish she could practice forever!

Dr. Benefield has been my doctor for many years. I trust her judgement and know I will receive great care. She is caring, experienced, approachable, and won’t “sugar coat” the facts. This approach allows patients to make informed decisions about their health, which leads to better outcomes. When I ask for advice, I know she will be honest. There is not a taboo subject with Dr. Benefield. She puts me at ease and I truly enjoy visiting with her. I have an appt this week and am looking forward to seeing her and her great staff.

Had an appointment with this doctor for 6 months, and on THE DAY of my appointment I got a message @ 8:30 saying my appointment was canceled because I did not call to confirm the appointment. I received a message two days before the appointment and there was no mention of calling to confirm the appointment—only to bring my insurance. Absolutely NO CARE for patients!!

I have used Dr. Benefid for 6+ years. She was always quick and to the point which I liked. Recently I had a baby and had some embarrassing issues and I didn't feel like I got the help and reassurance I needed.

I have used Dr. Benefield for many years, and would highly recommend her to anyone that prefers a physician that really takes the time to listen and address all of your concerns. She is highly professional, but very caring. She doesn't rush through her appointments and as someone that is always uncomfortable being examined, has never made me feel uncomfortable.

I would not recommend this doctor. They do not work with you or your insurance. My wife and I have UMR, it's a really good insurance, but Dr. Benefield's office will try and get you to put up 2500.00 before ever performing anything, then wait 9 months to file with your insurance. So ultimately all that money you pay them never applies to your deductible. Don't fall into this trap with them. There are a lot better doctors and in Longview besides those at DCOL.
