Best Dr. for my issues
I have severe bunions on my feet. I had to have surgery, as the big toe wasn't functioning due to the bunion. As a result, I had to have surgery on my second toe as the ligament had torn. Went to Dr. Rigby on referral from my primary care doc. He was the only choice from my PCP, and now the only choice for me. The staff is the best I have ever had the pleasure to work with! Dr. Rigby was very informative and has a great 'bedside manner'. Once in surgery, there were a lot more complications due to congenital deformities (not visible on MRI). Had I not had Dr. Rigby, the surgery would have failed. He fixed all my issues. I will be using him again for my right foot to correct the same issues.

Did two ankle/heel/calf surgeries for me. He and his staff are amazing. Every interaction has been very positive. He always answers questions and never hurries you out. He and staff seem to genuinely care.

Usually the wait times are much shorter. He's always been good at listening and using his hands to check my ankles to see how they move. I will need surgery and before I seen him 2 years ago he had mentioned surgery was possible but he wanted to look at other options with physical therapy first before jumping in and doing surgery. I but because I've chronically sprained both of my ankles for the last 35-36 years of my life I have had problems with my ankles healing the last couple years trying to strengthen them. His MA scheduled the tentative date for me to have surgery at the end of the month. He was good about explaining the MRI and what he found in my ankle and explained that my tendons were fine but my ligaments are the problem and my cartilage is still to good so he wanted to build a save my cartilage from being damaged later on. He has been great to work with since I have been seeing him and he was recommended to Me 2 years ago.

I wouldn't return to Dr. Rigby. He fails to really care about seeing you through to the end. Takes more of a band-aid approach. The issue I originally took to him returned soon after I finished the medication. I called office right away to request a refill of the medication. I got kicked to another doctor and all that was filled was a watered down Tylenol. That told me EVERYTHING I needed to know about him. I live in a small town and had to go to a local PA to get help. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Dr. Rigby comes across as confident and capable. He wanted to redo a bunion surgery on my big toe, when it was the 2nd toe that was really the problem. He agreed that he could straighten the 2nd toe while "correcting" the big toe. I found out from a nurse (who wanted to confirm what was happening in the surgery) the DAY of the surgery that he had no intention of doing anything with the 2nd toe. He messed up the surgery on my big toe and I have a permanent bump under my foot. Go to someone else!

After going to another Podiatrist for 8 weeks for a broken toe for a son, we switched and came to Dr. Rigby. Within 1 week we saw drastic improvements. Dr. Rigby treated another son for heal pain again he worked miracles. Dr. Rigby listened to us and wanted to know lots of details. He asked lots of questions and felt the foot all over. I will always recommend for any feet issues!!
