Excellent surgeon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He performed surgery on me. I had an excellent result. I had no pain. He is very professional and personable. He cares about his patients !! The day after my surgery he personally called me. In my opinion, he is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered.

Great Experience Before & After Surgery, A++
I've never had surgery before and Dr. Jacob took the time to go over all of the details & options. He visited & reassured me the morning of the operation and performed a robotic laparoscopic hernia repair with mesh. I experienced nominal pain after the surgery & returned home that afternoon. After only 2 pain pills with ice in the first 15 hours, I was able to control the pain with ibuprofen/acetminophen for the next two days. I was up walking and caring for myself within 2 1/2 days. My follow up visit with Dr. Jacob was only 6 days later because he scheduled the surgery around my active schedule. Everything is healing well & I drove myself to the appointment. At Day 6, I only needed 2 Advil after several drives, walking for 30 minutes, climbing 4 sets of stairs, & working in my office until 7pm. His office nurse, Maria, was also a pleasure before & after the operation. The nurses & anesthesiologist at East Jefferson Out Patient Surgery were top notch. Highly Recommended!

Dr. Ryan Jacob
Dr. Ryan Jacob is an excellent, compassionate, skillful surgeon. Having recently undergone emergency abdominal surgery at East Jefferson Hospital (LCMC) he took time in the hospital to explain the procedure and provided thorough followup. He even followed up through phone contact at home. I highly recommend him.

I have had two different surgeries performed by Dr. Jacob. Several years ago, he performed a colon resection on me. The procedure went extremely well and the pain after the surgery was minimal and the scar healed well. You can barely see the incision. Recently he performed a Robotic Nissen procedure on me because of extreme reflux. I have not taken any pain meds after the surgery. For both procedures he explained everything thoroughly. He was very caring and professional. Great surgeon!
