Dr. Ryan Donahue, MD

I had an appointment with Dr. Donahue this morning and found his approach unprofessional. He lacked bedside manner, showed little concern for my well-being, and was dismissive. He spoke down to me and did not listen to my concerns. When I informed him that I would not be taking medication and preferred a more holistic approach, he appeared offended. Based on my experience, I do not recommend him or his practice.

I was referred to Dr. Donahue and waited two months to be seen. My apt started with being completely ignored by the office staff, who I later found out was the office manager. Then the appointment got even worse once Dr. Donahue walked in the examination room. His bedside manner was extremely lacking in every way possible. He basically told me after waiting for two months that my medical concerns are due to my age, even though I was referred by my doctor based on abnormal lab work. I was shocked when he said “I’m not sure why you are even here.” I also caught him rolling his eyes at me. I felt uncomfortable with his demeanor and behavior. Then when leaving, I was ignored once again by his office manager who just looked me up and down but never said a word to me when I was trying to check in AND out. I will never return, the most unprofessional medical office I’ve encountered.

Amazing doctor. I got referred to him because of my kidney stone and urgency. When I got to my first appointment he already had studied my files and already knew what needed to be done (surgery) and that went smooth as well. He made sure I was taken care of, which I appreciate deeply. Thank you

Dr. Donahue and the staff were awesome! The staff greets you with the biggest smiles and really put me at ease. Dr. Donahue was very professional and listened to what I was saying. I will recommend him and the staff to everyone

Dr. Donahue doesn't really listen to what you say, or if he directly addresses your answer to his question he responds in a challenging manner that is disrespectful of your intelligence. This egotistical nature is why I am not returning to him for further treatment, but will seek another urologist.

Dr. Donahue is a top notch physician. He calls with lab results to discuss and who does that now a days, no one. He is easy to speak with and he listens and responds in a thorough yet understandable way. He discusses all options and is proactive not reactive. I like this approach.
