I've had one tele-visit and 2 phone calls from the doctors office since I was hospitalized. I have never had a doctor call me just to ask how I am doing. It is unprecedented. If all doctors cared about their patients the way this practice does it would be a different world for people with medical problems.

I never thought I would giving a 5 star review on a colonoscopy, but I am. ???? Dr Childers was so kind and reassuring about the whole procedure. His nurses are of the highest caliber as well. I was so nervous, but shouldn't have been at all. It went quickly and I was on my way home in a couple of hours.

I had a pre-colonoscopy visit via teleconference. Dr. Childers was extremely personable and we visited until my questions were all answered. I was pleased to find out I was able to delay my colonoscopy for another year or two due to new guidelines. We also discussed my medication for GERD and we were able to decrease the dosage and it has been working very well. A huge thank you to him.

I am a young adult who is often felt belittled by doctors because hey, I'm young and don't know anything about my own chronic health issues. I had slept through my alarm for the virtual appointment because I'm chronically fatigued and don't sleep at night. The Dr. called me and had an aggregated tone for sleeping through my alarm. Dr. Childers treated me no different. Ordered meds even after I told him I had taken them before and did not want to try them again. The Dr. and his assistant completely disregarded my opinions and wishes. I did not feel heard or respected. Will be finding a different doctor within the Oregon Clinic.

I had a new patient video visit with Dr Childers and he was super nice and professional and had looked at my previous history before the appointment. It never seemed like it was rushed and he listened to what I had to say. I like how he took what I had to say into account before making a plan with me. Thank you so much for your help. So far I feel like the new plan is working.

Dr. Childers is one of the very best doctors I have been to. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and a great "bedside manner" . I have had a colonoscopy with him and related appointments and also some appointments for gastro issues. He explains things very well and is kind and a good sense of humor. I would highly recommend him !!
