Dr. Ruth Weesner, MD

Had an appointment for my teenage son for an initial ADD/ADHD evaluation. The assistant that worked with us before Dr. Weesner saw us was very professional and very in depth. I wish I could remember her name because she was way better than Dr. Weesner, and wish her the best of luck in her future career. Just to summarize the visit with Dr. Weesner, it was a complete waste of time. My son lives with me and his stepmom 95% of the time. Dr. Weesner kicked my wife, his stepmom, out of the room before she started the "evaluation' because there were too many peopel (4) in the room. She talked more about herself and family, asked my son maybe 3 questions, but mainly talked to his mom that doesn't have that great of a grasp of the situation at hand. We will not be going back for the follow up and I would highly recommend that if you need an ADD/ADHD evaluation, do NOT go there.

I saw Dr. Weesner as a pre-teen to teen. I once cried during a routine check-up. She ignored me and didn't even ask what was wrong. She diagnosed me with a disorder but didn't tell me or my parents. I only found out years later via my records. The diagnosis was later confirmed by another doctor. Her office staff are nice, but repeatedly lied about responding to a faxed request for records from my next doctor. I eventually had to go get a copy in person because they would never respond otherwise.
