This woman should be ashamed of herself. She started off my appointment with saying she likes to get to know her patients by “looking at their medications they’re on.” Then when she looked me up on the Arkansas prescription monitoring, saw I was on medications for my mental health, she proceeded to quiz me who was prescribing my medications(my psychiatrist of 5 years). I was there for physical health issues. I broke down in her office crying, then she says I clearly needed the medicine. I am now traumatized to even see a pcp after being treated this way. Not all mental health patients have drug addiction. I hope after what happened with me she is treating her patients in a more considerate manner. This is not the first provider to act this way after seeing I’m on an anxiety medication. I understand it’s an epidemic, but not everyone abuses medication and it should not be an automatic assumption. You’re doing an injustice to your patients by having that mindset and creating barriers.

Dr. Ruth Ann Blair and the staff at Cabot Medical Care are top notch! I can't say enough about the care, concern, and thoroughness Dr. Blair has always shown. Being a patient with multiple major medical issues, she pulls me up by my bootstraps everytime I feel overwhelmed and designs a plan with a team of support to get me back in gear! Thank you Ruth Ann!

She only takes new patients if you are a doctor or lawyer. Only left a star because it’s required to leave a review.
