I am new to town as we were transferred for the military. I had an initial appointment at 11am today. My sitter called minutes before and stated she would not make it. I packed my toddlers in the car and walked in the office at 11:07am. The waiting room was empty. I checked in and got through half of the new patient paperwork when the front office staff called me up to tell me that “the doctor just called the front office and said he can’t see you because it’s 11:15.” I pointed out that I checked in at 11:07am, NOT 11:15am.” I was flabbergasted as there were zero patients in the office. Things happen and if that waiting room was jam packed, then I understand that 7 minutes I was late was impactful. I’m sooooo glad I found a new primary care physician after reading the reviews of Dr. Yocum. I should have done that BEFORE I set this appointment! Don’t waste your time; read the reviews. One star for a clean and suuuper empty medical office! That should speak a lot in and of itself.

I recently chose Dr. Yokum as my new general practitioner. He is both kind and professional. He knew precisely where to refer me to for my chronic pain condition. He showed concern and listened patiently while I described in detail my health concerns. His overall bedside manner is excellent. I'm glad I found him!
