Susan front desk
I cannot comment on the quality of this physician but if he hires people like Susan or Sarah or whatever her name is then the entire organization is going to fail. I called to ask if this provider worked with pts with a specific condition and was rudely told its not up to her. As a customer service agent is it not your job to ask ? Your nasty remark was unnecessary and frankly the referral I was working on will be placed elsewhere. Susan needs to be removed from that position if this is the quality of care your office provides.

I have several reason for this review. #1 In June 2020 (during Covid19) I called to schedule a colonoscopy. I was told that he wasn't currently doing the procedure in the Ellicott City office and was informed that he had "chosen" a surgical center in location that was much further from my house. I told the receptionist that I was going to have it performed by a doctor that was closer. Dr. Schub called me back and pressured me to cancel that appointment. No respect for my decision. #2 A few hours prior to surgery, I vomited the last of the cleansing liquid. I paged Dr. Schub to let him know. He was very unprofessional. He was in panic mode because he was driving and on the phone. He was rambling about the traffic and how this "always happens to him". He should have pulled over before he called me back. #3 He is part of that practice according to the name plate. #4 I sat in his waiting room for over 2 hours and didn't receive as much as an apology from him. My ride waited 4 hrs

I had a routine colonoscopy. Dr. Schub punctured my colon. I almost died and was in the hospital 8 times in two years. I had 4 operations, including having a colostomy with a bag for six months. I would not recommend him and highly suggest alternative methods of assessing colon health.

I've been a patient of Dr. Schub since first experiencing issues associated with job-related stress during my career in government. Without his compassionate care and continued follow-up, I seriously doubt I'd be enjoying retirement today. During my most recent procedures, focused on continued monitoring of my health, I've been especially impressed by the diversity of both his staff and patients. I'd strongly recommend him to anyone today needing his care.

I have seen Dr. Schub many times over the years for colonoscopies, endoscopies, and breath testing for digestive disorders. I find him to be genuinely concerned about his patients, and I appreciate the care he and his CNP take careto ensure that I understand procedures and findings. The office staff and the nursing/technician staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr. Schub and his team are efficient, professional, kind, knowledgeable and thorough from the time you start a phone conversation with the front desk to working with Dr. Schub. If there ever is a wait time, it is well worth the quality care. I can't stress enough that all staff are thorough and knowledgeable and take every precaution with an individual's health care.

Dr. Schub and his staff are professional, efficient, and personable. Detailed and clear information is provided to prepare you for the procedure. Facilities are organized and pleasant. Staff interactions give you confidence that they are knowledgeable and proficient. All in all the place to go for this medical procedure that some see as a bit intimidating.

I have seen Dr. Schub for probably 5 years now. He is very attentive and his P.A. is excellent as well. Dr. Schub's easy-going nature and sense of humor put me at ease. Dr. Schub frequently runs late on his schedule, but I Don't really have a problem with this. The reason? Because I know he is going to give me the amount of attention and time that I need and that is what he is doing for his other patients as well. His office staff members are always welcoming and competent.
