Good doctor stuck in old, outdated practice.
The doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately the practice is still in the 80s. I couldn’t check in online ahead of time fill out my health information they couldn’t even order labs inside the same hospital system without sending me with analog paperwork to the lab. Somebody really needs to tell them this is 2022.

10/10 recommend Dr. Kirks
Dr. Kirks is an amazing surgeon with a laid back personality. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer any questions you may have, he is also very informative. He performed a liver resection due to a large mass and gallbladder removal for me. He was very thorough and ordered a biopsy before surgery to make sure he had the best surgical approach. While I was in the hospital post-op, he came in every single day to check on me and make sure everything looked right. I highly recommend Dr. Kirks if you are looking for a surgeon that cares and is going to do things the right way.

Impressive!
Knew his stuff! Dr. Kirks made every effort to communicate with me to ensure that I understand the benefits and risks of surgery at my advanced age and fragile condition. With hearing problems, often I miss much of what is said but Dr. Kirks was wonderful. Much appreciated!

Dr Kirks Ferocious Passion for Patients
How I came to meet Dr Kirks. Emergency admission for Acute Severe Pancreatitis, 6.7 cm Tumor/Gallbladder Cancer, caught covid-19 while on chemo, Major surgery to remove tumor, gallbladder and 35% of Liver. Yes, some would say it's the effort of all Teams involved. Personally.. No, all the Other Staff and Teams were like Cheerleaders compared to Dr Kirks. The Catastrophic Difference between Dr Kirks and All the other staff and Doctors can Never be put into words. Dr kirks has a Rare and Ferocious Passion to Personally see in all spectrums that Each and Every One if his patients are Complete in Every sense of health and humanity as they're released from his care.
