Uninformative and incompetent
Due to my first baby having clubfeet in my pregnancy we were told to see a specialist during our 20 week anatomy scan to make sure our second baby didn’t have any abnormalities. Our first doctor was great and put us at ease that they didn’t see anything out of the ordinary but because the baby was hiding and in weird positions so I had to come back for a second scan. This time I met with dr Patel and didn’t like his bedside manner at all. He awkwardly told us everything was fine like it a problem that he didn’t find anything wrong with the baby. Then proceeded to share the scans in a way that made us worry that he was going to share bad news. He then proceeded to tell us we didn’t need any additional treatment or consultations but then orders additional testing around 36 weeks that we were unaware of. We now have to do a non stress test for the baby every week until the baby is due. Nothing in my tests labs or visits have show me to be high risk but he still ordered unnecessary tests.

The worst doctor you can get when high risk pregna
Hi ,, took care’ of me while I was admitted to the hospital for observation,,, had very poor bedside manners, didn’t explain much. I felt like another case that is really boring for him! I don’t understand why he even became a doctor,, 0 compassion,, avoid him if you can!

Dr. Patel helped explain the reason for my referral to his practice. I had some abnormal blood tests and my doctor didn’t explain it well. I had a few visits with Dr. Patel and thankfully everything went well with my pregnancy.

Dr. Patel helped manage my pregnancy through some major complications. I had to see their office for quite a few visits. He was patient, and helpful, made me feel at ease. Thankfully the pregnancy is near complete and things are going well. The staff were always kind and accommodating as well.

I was mistaken in my first review and not sure how to delete it. Dr. Patel really does have a terrible bedside manner. That is all I'm able to review him on, as I never had complications that needed to be addressed. My first review (5 stars) was directed at Dr. Farhan Hanif at this practice.

This physician has really poor bedside manner. He’s incredibly stand-offish from the moment he enters the room and it’s not clear why. Instead of trying to understand the big picture and asking relevant questions pertinent to your health history, he sits there judgementally. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. Not sure why he’s even a physician.

I would not recommend him to anyone. He was terrible with the worst bedside manners. Everything he told us to expect while I was 20 weeks pregnant, was incorrect and he made me and my husband worry the rest of our pregnancy for wrong reasons. He is truly the worst.

Didn't study the case before hand, wasn't confident, consulted by saying maybe in every case. No clear direction on when to start the meds which one and where to get it from. Seeing him only because of our primary doctor is affiliated.

Only opinion he has for : 1.) a pregnancy with 2 blood vessel chord is 'yeah everything is fine' 2.) a pregnancy with an ovarian cyst 15 cm is 'yeah you may need a surgery, else everything is fine' (it resulted in a laparotomy surgery at 20 weeks) 3.) a baby with a brain anomaly 'some anomaly, but yeah everything is fine'. (Which otherwise care providers suggest an ultrasound post birth). Ughhhh... No connect, No bed side manners, no quality of a 'care provider'!!! I won't recommend him!

I had a lot of visits to this MFM office because I had a high-risk twin pregnancy, and because one of my babies had an absent end flow. Initially, Dr Patel gave me the impression of an impersonal doctor & matter of fact. However, we developed a more positive relationship. In the end, he made the call to have me deliver early, which probably was the best thing for our babies. I'm very grateful for his expertise, and was very touched to know he visits our babies in the NICU after they were born.

Worst doctor I have experienced. We had to visit MFM since I was diabetic. This was our 2nd trimester scan and after the nurse performed the initial scan, she let us know Dr. Patel would be seeing us to go over the results. Dr. Patel was extremely bad in reviewing the reports. He was totally uninterested in explaining things. Even when we tried to ask about certain details,he almost brushed off giving proper answers. It seemed as though he was forced to see us. Very rude behaviour! AVOID Him!

One of the worse experiences with a doctor. I am almost 20 weeks pregnant, this was my 2nd trimester scan. The nurse was fantastic & told us the doctor would give us some more pictures during the ultrasound - he gave us none! He spent 5 minutes with us & acted like we were bothering him. Had a terrible bedside manner and told us our baby has a cyst on her brain that only occurs in 1% to 2% of babies. Wasn't helpful at all and I left the office in tears. Will not ever see him again!

my primary doctor booked an appointment with him & they did not asked for due date or any dates whereas the test we had appointment was date specific. As soon as we got there they gave us some paper work to fill out & we waited there for approximately 25 min.& paid $40 copay ( should be $20 per Insurance) they called us in test room and said you are too late for this test. you wont get any result if you do test. why did not they told us this while making an appointment or when we got there.
