Dr. Rupa Goolsby, MD

Dr. Goolsby is one of the best OB-GYNs out there. She is calm and level-headed. Dr. Goolsby takes the time to listen to any issues or concerns you might have and doesn’t brush them off. She delivered my 10.2lb baby with ease and made sure both my child and myself were taken care of. I would recommend her to anyone.

2/10/2020 I called Dr. Rupa Goolsby office and spoke with Jill. I explained that I understand that Dr. Goolsby normally does not see patients who are expecting until they are 8 weeks but the ER physician I saw 2/9 advised that because I had been experiencing bleeding and the ultrasound still showed some bleeding, I needed to be seen within 1 or 2 days. Jill told me that Dr. Goolsby doesn’t like to see patients until they are 8 weeks along. She then went on to tell me that there is really “nothing that we can do”. Jill asked “Well the ER doctor said everything is okay, right?” I told her, “NO. He did not. He told me that I needed to be seen within 1 to 2 days and that is why I am calling now.” Jill said, “Well I just don’t want to put this in and Dr. Goolsby wonders why I scheduled this and your just 7 weeks.” Jill told me that she could add me to the calendar to be seen on 2/14 because then I’d be “at the end of my 7th week”.

Dr. Rupa Goolsby is very knowledgeable and caring. She took considerable time both to explain and perform my needed procedure. Her nursing staff is also caring and friendly. They were very reassuring and calmed my fears about the procedure. I have had excellent results. I am very thankful for Dr. Goolsby!

5stars are not enough. Dr. R.Goolsby is a rare gem of a physician.Run(don’t walk) to see her!Due to her exemplary level of expertise, she can offer what others can’t.Currently, I am recovering from my surgery faster than expected.No complications at all, no infections and I attribute that solely to Dr.R.Goolsby’s high level skills and care.Besides being an incredibly competent doctor and expert in her field,Dr.R.Goolsby is an extremely genuine and warm person. Thank you, dr.Goolsby!

Dr. Goolsby was actually not even my Obgyn however, I had an emergency c section and she was the doctor on call that day. She was wonderful explained everything and stayed calm when I was freaking out. I would highly recommend her.

Worlds worst doctor...very disconnected, non interested in her patients, uncaring, even selfish and self obsorbed!

I put so much trust into her and I went into early preterm labor last year and lost my twins and she seem as if she had other things on her mind and it definitely was not me as the patient after I deliver she sent me home the next day without giving me and d&c so with that being said I will never ever go to her again or recommend her to anyone

Didn't visit me until 3 days after image my son. Two years later, I had to have a D&C and as they were wheeling me into the operating room, she was too busy texting on her phone to even notice. I changed practices shortly thereafter and would never recommend her to anyone.
