Dr Penaranda misdiagnosed my husband with Pneumonia at the WGRH in September 2018 without performing and further testing to verify his diagnosis. He indicated some strong antibiotics by IV that almost killed my husband. We had to rush him to the ER at Baptist Hospital where doctors were immediately questioned the Pneumonia diagnosis. They ran a number of tests that came back indicating that he was suffering from INFLUENZA B. In addition, Dr. Penaranda is very rude. Stay away from this Dr.!!

Dr. Penaranda is great but his staff did a very poor job with my first office visit. I had told his office staff member that he personally told me to call and tell her what he wanted. I spoke to her and explained they needed to call my insurance provider in advance for a preauthorisation before my office visit, because it takes 15 days. That was in late Oct. Today Dec. 6. 2017 I had a 9:15 am appt. Wasted my time. They didn’t do what they were suppose to do and asked for a authorization today.
