Dr. Solano is a fantastic health care provider. He use to be my primary care physician when I lived in Colorado. I also know him from being stationed at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, Aurora, CO and Evans Army Community Hospital Fort Carson CO. You could not ask for someone more passionate about his patients than him. I would highly recommend him. He really helped me when I lost my late husband. Miss having him for a physician.

Worst Care I've Ever Received
Came in to get help with my hip which is severe enough to the point where I struggle to walk. All he did was prescribe me medication and was dismissive of what I had to say. I tried to get him to refer me to physical therapy and he said no. It's obvious he doesn't care about his patients wellbeing. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

My experience with Dr. Solano has been one of an observer in appointments with my elderly parents. He is sarcastic and I don't think he listens to his patients. Last week was the straw that broke the camels back. My father had an episode (possible TIA) that was very concerning to him and us. We booked the only appointment available with him, which was the last of the day. At that appointment despite my medical power of attorney and request to be in the appointment virtually, he did not call. He told an 87 year old man who can not drive to come back the next day for labs (no, none needed to be fasting) and that he would call me the next day - he had an appointment to get to. That is the extent of his care and compassion. If you like sarcasm and a doctor that doesn't give your concerns any thoughtful responses, then he's the doc for you.

Mediocre. I saw this doctor for insomnia. Condescending bedside manner and he recommend CBD oil (dosages of which are not FDA regulated nor are there comprehensive studies on the long-term effects of CBD) rather than prescribe sleep medication. Ultimately, I figured out the source of my insomnia on my own and solved it without medication, with no credit to this doctor.

I love this doctor. I came to CO from Md 13 years ago and he has been my doctor ever since. He is outspoken in a caring way and I love that he doesn't sugar coat anything. I am not there to be coddled, I am there because I want the best treatment possible and he provides that. I am 66 years old and would never want to have to change doctors again. This doctor is AMAZING!!!!

Dr. Solano is a very good care giver and expects the patient to do their part and follow the instructions provided. He doesn't coddle but provides excellent advice. He does spend the necessary amount of time to ensure that you understand his direction and medications prescribed.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Solano?
Dr. Solano is absolutely the worst doctor I have ever had the misfortune of seeing... He would not listen to my questions, concerns, nor my opinion on/about my health... Additionally, he was outright rude and vulgar with his bedside manner, making states about me and the fact that he'll be paid regardless of if he is helpful or even does his job. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Solano even if my life depended on it. This was literally the worst medical experience that I have ever had in my life.

I went to dr. Solano for approximately 11 years after my original doctor moved. On two occasions when I was asking questions about my physical/diagnosis, he got up off of his stool, came over to me, got in my face, and started yelling at me. I should have never gone back after the first incident - my mistake. He is knowledgeable as a doctor... but other wise terrible and absolutely abusive. He was the WORST doctor experience I have had in 60+ years.

Dr. Solano always listens to me and takes the time to answer my questions. He also looks for the most effective treatment without relying on prescriptions, but rather the individual making as many healthy lifestyle choices as possible, and then suggests appropriate medications to supplement and help achieve results.

He seems to have a "take a pill and call me in the morning" mentality. He never seems to want to troubleshoot to see what the underlying causes are and only does labs when you push him to do so. It almost feels like the military mentality where you're giving meds to mask some of the symptoms and pray that you rotate out before your ailments get worse.

I always try to find a redeeming quality, even with a terrible doctor. I simply can't find one in him. If you care about your health and you don't want a lazy physician that will not work as your partner in your health care or won't listen to you, then make an effort to avoid this man.
