I think Dr Deal is great! I needed his help getting off some medication that was started to treat pain. He explained everything very well. He was very compassionate, patient, and thorough. I’m not sure I could have gotten off the medication as quickly (limitation of side effects), if it weren’t for him. I’m not sure I have the optimal mix of meds yet. I know it takes trial and error and meds effect people differently. I am thankful he is around to help people to get to feeling better.

Dr Deal was the worst Dr I have exer been to. He seemed compassionate at first and put me on an anti depressant. I called the office a week later and told the receptionist that the medicine was increasing my anxiety. She said that Dr Deal told me to stop taking it and come back in. When I got there he asked me if I was still taking the medication. I said no explained that it was making me more anxious as if he did not remember telling me to stop. I found a Dr that is awesome at working with me.

Dr. Deal is extremely experienced and compassionate. I would recommend him over any other psychiatrist any day, hands down. His knowledge and true desire to make all his patients feel and better is truly a gift. Few doctors compare to his level of skill.

Dr. Deal treated me with the utmost respect. He remained brutally honest and supportive throughout my treatment. Most importantly he meticulously managed my medication and allowed me to get back on track mentally. Dr. Deal and the therapists at ECBH saved my life.
