Bad Experience
Dr. Talarico seems disengaged from the clinical side of patient care. He came across as condescending and was unwilling to spend more than a few minutes addressing my questions. On both visits, he walked out of the room to leave while I was still speaking and asking questions. I wouldn’t recommend seeing him, and I won’t be returning. I'd normally assume he was rushing off to another patient, but his schedule was wide open. I guess there's a reason why...

WORST DOCTOR EVER!
Dr. Ross Talarico who does ankles and foot is the rudest most condescending doctor i have ever experienced. Speaking to me as if i'm an idiot. Saying 'i don't know how many ways to tell you this, its obvious.....'Excuse me?! If you're that irritable, get out of the field, Jesus!Rushes through your appt also. DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS!Respect me as I've respected you. It is because of patients that you are employed. Get over yourself! Condescending and nasty attitude.Thoroughly disgusted.

Had a bad fall. Broke my heel and tarsal bones. Saw Dr. Talarico after being referred to him from Summit ER. (ER doc told me he had surgery with Dr.T). That tells a lot. Back together and that was a few months ago. Physical therapy and time- now I’m back to running. Thanks Doc.

Amazing surgeon. I broke my ankle in three places. Saw another Ortho doc who said I should see Dr. Talarico. He did an amazing job. Straight forward. Now doing physical therapy at 6 weeks and walking again. Amazing. Interesting that the bad reviews are from people who appear to be “doctor shopping” and never had surgery.

He does not care about you or acts in your best interest. Huge ego. Very condescending. Upset when he knows you are seeing other doctors as well.

I was seeing Dr. Talarico for a year about a problem I was having on the top of my foot. He couldn’t read the MRI that the previous doctor ordered, and thought it was a Linsfrac fracture. He did administer a cortisone shot three different times and said that the next step would be surgery. At the next appointment he abruptly said he could not fix my foot and that it was near impossible to fix. Then he went,on and on about my bunion I had since birth and that he only fixes “normal” feet that have been injured by sports or accidents. I was not asking him to fix my bunion. When I asked for a referral, thankfully he referred me to a new doctor could read the MRI, showed me that it was not a linsfranc fracture and explained how he could fix it. So one star for the adequate cortisone shot and the referral.

If you are seeking tx for a bunion or hammer toe skip a consult with Dr Talarico. He bluntly stated that bunionectomies “are not my favorite surgeries”! After giving me his templated information on bunions, common fixes for the pain pre surgery decision he abruptly stated I have another patient now and am going to run. He never checked if I had any further questions. My husband, a physician himself, felt his disinterest was glaring and poor medical etiquette.

Dr Talarico is an excellent doctor. I have now seen him 4 times. Twice for myself and twice for my daughter. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He takes the time to get to the root of the problem and how to fix things with an easy bedside manner.

I am unable to remove my previous review. I’ve been working with Talarico for a while now and he’s taken very good care of me. From his peers told he’s the top ankle doctor at Websters

doesn't tell me he's going on a vacation, schedules my surgery and makes follow up/hard cast appointment a week after I'm due to get it replaced (3 weeks not 2 weeks out) because of his vacation leaving me bedridden for an extra week and putting my recovery at risk
