Belittling and rude- Get a different pulmonologist
Dr. Mazo was incredibly inconsiderate to me at my second appointment with him, which took over a week and multiple messages to his office to schedule. When I suggested a course of treatment another pulmonologist had used with me before, he was dismissive and insulting to me. He then told me I might want to reconsider an appointment I have later in the week because I was ”so upset about *this*” (insinuating the issue I was seeing him about was insignificant) that he didn’t think I could go for the unrelated procedure. I left and went to WestMed Urgent Care where they treated me appropriately and kindly and got me prescribed the medication I needed. Find another pulmonologist that will respect you and treat you professionally. It’s not Dr. Mazo.
