Dr. Rosemary Nowins, MD

Waited 30 minutes for guy behind the desk to acknowledge id come in and 2 hours to be called back to triage. Back to waiting room for a room to open up, then waited 45 minutes for doctor to come into that room. She had a student with her and addressed me minimally. Did a quick exam, updated my notes, and gave me a paper for bloodwork. I wanted to ask about colon cancer screening but she never spoke to me or acted like I was a living person at her office. At this point I don’t know what good it does to see her.

Very thorough. To the point and honest. I have been seeing her off and on ( due to changes in insurance) for 22years. She is knowledgeable and makes sure you understand what's happening with your health.

Well my visit wasn’t good . I was waiting yo see the doctor almost 3 hours . And then they explain my lab results very quickly , I couldn’t understand very well what they were saying.

Dr. Nowins is an excellent doctor, more importantly she is very helpful, patient and understanding .The doctor has been my primary doctor for 25 years and I could not be more pleased with her demeanor and knowledge .

Dr.Nowins is the best. She takes her time to listen to what is bothering you. She is a great diagnostician. Dr. Nowins first priority is you. From being greeted by Brenda at the front desk to Kevin and the rest of her staff in the office I know that whatever is wrong with me will be fixed. She is knowledgeable about all fields of medicine and researches your specific aliment. I don't know how she finds the time to accomplish it all but I've been her patient for many years and would recommend her to all my family and friends.

Dr. Nowin is an extremely Thorough Doctor who has a tendency to run late on her appointments but she is not one of those in and out 45 second doctors. She is extremely knowledgeable and spends the time to do a good job!

I love Dr. Nowins, just have to wait for a very long time to see her and front office people are not attentive with their patients' needs.. if its not for Dr. Nowins, I will go to different doctor because of her front office people... One of the front office person was sitting staring with her notebook and other is in the computer without saying anything... Her office staff needs re-training with customer service area, plus you dont tell your patient to call back because Im busy ??

Dr Rosemary Nowins has been my primary care Internist for over two years. I have type 1 Brittle Diabetes and have seen both primary care and endocrinologists over the past 15 years. No other physician has taken the time with me that she has. She goes over everything with me, has me update her staff with any changes and stays in touch with me between appointments. I am not the easiest patient but she is wonderful in her care she has given me. She has fought my insurance company for the care

The doctor is fine except you will wait for at least 2 hours after your appointment time to even see her. I have to have my thyroid checked about every 6 months and every time I have waited for over 2 hours. It's rude and disrespectful!

Was told I'm healthy and nothing's wrong with me never listens still with pains from mouth to anus now with no insurance and can't get a real diagnoses for what's wrong with me to even get help if being 168 dropping to 118 in weight unintentionally with constant pains is healthy then I guess this is the doctor for you

Will never recommend

She settled some issues I had been dealing with for years where I was misdiagnosed. She took her time and studied my chart. She ran her own test and compared it with previous doctor's and really got me feeling better. I really feel for the first time in years that I'm closer to recovering. She's proven herself to be a good competent doctor.
