Does a thorough exam
Dr Bhatt and her assistant do a thorough and complete body examination. She always starts be asking if I have any concerns about any particular spots. She anyways explains what she is looking for, and why whether any particular spots she does find is something that needs attention or not.

First visit
My first visit with Dr Bhatt. She listened to my concerns. She explained to me what the condition was and assured my that it was not a problem. She identified several areas of concern and after I agreed with treatment, she proceeded to resolve the issue. Staff was efficient and friendly. I felt very comfortable.

Finally I have been diagnosed!
Dr Bhatt is the third derm doctor I have been to and she was the first one to diagnose my issues and give me a new treatment plan that has worked! She also was forthcoming about preventive measures. She is GREAT!

Through skin check

Yikes
After waiting 6 months for my appointment for a standard skin check, I arrived and they said they would not be able to do a skin scan, which was really frustrating. After some hemming and hawing, they let me know the doctor would 'fit me in.' She came in quickly and there was a woman (presumably a nurse? Unclear, she was never introduced) and a teen girl who stood there and watched while Dr. Bhatt had me stand in the middle of the room naked except for my underwear and do the skin scan. It was never explained to me that this is what was going to happen or who these other people were watching. She didn't let me cover the parts she wasn't checking - she took the gown away completely. She seemed thorough enough I guess? But the whole thing was incredibly disturbing. I hope it's just because she is overbooked and was in a hurry, but either way it was irresponsible and negligent. On top of that, the office was dirty. The chair had fluid stains and the implement tray was rusty and stained.

If was great. I got what I wanted to know about my skin problem. Dr. Bhatt explained the possibility of causes of my skin problems very clearly. I have started taking medications she suggested. I hope I can recover soon.
