Dr. Hershman is awesome!! When ever I need to get in touch with him, he’s always available! Very efficient and answers all your questions!! I deal with a lot of different doctors and he is the only one that reviews his portal messages himself ! Even he will answer on off times from the office. I recommend him highly!!

I’ve been a patient for about 8 years and I’m so grateful I found Dr Hershman. He has managed my atrial fibrillation through three ablations and numerous breakthroughs. He is knowledgeable, a great diagnostician, and creative in his treatment. He is always available when you need to see him. He also takes the time to explain his thinking and treatment recommendations. He sees you as an individual patient even though my illness is quite common. I am completely confident in his judgment. His staff is professional and extremely caring, always trying to make you comfortable. I travel an hour to get to his office but I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Hershman and staff are very professional and compassionate people. He explains your condition of treatment clearly. Looks at the whole condition of your health from a blood test to a stress test or EKG etc.. Dr. Hershman saved my life two years ago diagnosing a blockage in LAD artery in my heart. Set me up with a great surgeon Dr. Feit at N.Y.U. Hospital. Professional service from the time I entered the hospital and thru the Stent being implanted and care after. Just like to thank Dr. Hershman and all other doctors and staff for a five star treatment.

He had me drive to him (2 hours) numerous times for no reason other than to bill my insurance. He prescribed me anti anxiety medication (he’s a cardiologist) and when I came to him feeling worse than before he was just trying to push my buttons instead of making it right with me, his patient. Disgusting person and just not a good human. He thinks he knows everything but actually knows nothing. Stay away!

I’m stunned when I read negative comments regarding Dr. Hershman. I owe my life to him. His concern for his patients is unique, tender, honest, and sincere. He has brought me through more than one crisis, was at my bedside when my recovery was tentative. My late wife and I knew from the beginning that we met a most caring, brilliant and dedicated cardiologist who would never abandon us.
