Poor patient etiquette

I would recommend Dr. Stewart for pregnancy and delivery care to anyone that prefers direct communication, competence and a light sense of humor. My son arrived very quickly at 35 weeks gestation. It was a situation in which I did not have had the energy to discuss every decision with the doctor, let alone the time. Dr. Stewart made decisions and took actions that allowed my son to be here today.

I saw Dr. Stewart for complications from a prior procedure I had at another facility. I was told by the ER staff to make an appointment with him and it was urgent. The staff got me in the next day and when I saw Dr. Stewart, he did not answer any of my questions and treated me rather poorly. My appointment lasted 8 minutes before he dismissed me from his office. This experience was not only a waste of time and money but also unpleasant and unsettling. I will not return to Dr. Stewart or any Banner Health facility nor recommend them.

Dr. Stewart performed by abdominal myomectomy for me. Throughout the entire process, initial assessment, pre-op meet, surgery, and post-op meets, Dr. Stewart exhibited the professionalism, expertise, and kindness one expects from their surgeon. Additionally, I truly appreciated Dr. Stewart's keenness for his profession.

I thought Dr Stewart was a very intelligent doctor who thoughorly explained how my hysterectomy was going to take place. I felt he was very compassionate and answered all of my questions and spent the time with me that I needed. I had a great outcome, still recovering , but overall the staff, nurses and all who were in the operating room were very nice and comforting. In order to have a great experience , the entire team starting at the front office all the way to the post -op Nurses .
