Genius with compassion
Dr. Greenwald is absolutely brilliant as doctor & gives a lot of attention to his patient's & cares . His knowledge & experience speaks for itself. Dr Greenwald really helped my 85-year-old mom who had a stroke and seizures. He was incredibly supportive and explained what was to be expected in the present and near future. I appreciated his honesty & compassion. If I am ever in need of a neurosurgeon for myself, I want Dr Greenwald for sure!

SUPERMAN, in my book! After seeing several physicians over a 7 month period, I was referred to Dr. Greenwald. He evaluated my situation, MRI and X-ray. Herniated discs impinging on my neck nerves. Fused them and plate fixed them! I would use his gifted talent if needs arise in the future. No problems or complications post-op. Surgery 2003.

This doctor performed a fusion on my neck and failed to mention that it didn't fuse. His unwillingness to be honest almost cost me my life. After being reviewed by the California Department of Health his service was found to be negligent. Not that it did me any good, i needed three more surgeries to fix what he destroyed. Horrible doctor, stay away

Last April 2016, my R leg sciatica would no longer respond to conservative treatment, so I got recommendations and saw 3 surgeons before choosing Dr. Greenwald to perform my L5-S1 microdiscectomy at Sequoia. I'm very impressed with his calm professionalism and and pleased with the ease of the procedure. The hospital delivered superb care also and post op PT was easy at the facility, and afterward. My recovery was textbook easy and now I'm 100% pain free and so glad I had the surgery!

The doctor said nothing is wrong and referred us to a different doctor. We waited a long time for our visit. It was even more difficult to make a payment. We called to make a payment and was on hold for a long time, then we were told we would be called back. There was no call back, and each of the 6 times we called we were told being second on line waiting for us to make a payment with a visa card. The fact that he is sharing his office with his wife did not seem to help either.
